I love love love this trailer!!! Your channel has been such a source of light and joy since I found it this past year. Thank you for all you do to help us have a fulfilled and joyous life! ❤️❤️❤️
Great trailer and looking forward to watching more on your channel... wild, free, nature connection, naked hiking, being ourselves... Yay! And pooping in the woods is okay too! 😃💚💚🌳🌳
Sara, there is something you need to ponder on in a sincere and soulful ways. Now comes the big question , alot of what you do can fall into the category of Spiritual Materialism .........i.e. intentionally or otherwise padding the ego while claiming some form of spiritual freedom . Not really it must be said. To truly be free in a spiritual sense, you must strive to embrace the quietness of the mind and lightness of your spirit for you and you alone. No cameras, no tall tales (so American) no selfie moments , no trite stories , no dreams of more subscribers .......no none of any of that. Then see how it really is. Because at the end of the day, kayaking down some river, eating some trendy vegan fare , doing 6 hours (others only did 5 hours) at some retreat etc. etc. counts for nothing , as if playing a character in an Outdoors Magizine article. it becomes trite and tiresome tbh. Write your own story , be surprising in a real way and not some made for Discovery Channel type thing.
Hi Chase, I agree, there's a fine line between demonstrative/materialistic spirituality and the personal practice of it! Though, good sir- ironically, this comes off as judgemental and misses the perspective that I am in fact a real human whose life you only see 1-5% of. The truth is that storytelling is what I do, and creative expression is a practice of spirituality for me. It's one of the oldest part of being human (as demonstrated by our cave dwelling ancestors) to share our stories- it doesn't mean we're trying to prove our worth or sell an experience, it means we're trying to connect and make sense of our existence. My entire career has been creative expression, I've written three one woman shows and performed them in over 20 countries and 5 languages. I won awards for my stories, and while that can be ego, it's fun for me because I love connecting with people through shared hardship and victory. For me, creative expression is a way of connecting ot whats beyond and bigger than me, and I make a practice fo ensuring it doesn't take away from my personal practices of meditation, time alone and silent in nature. You see very little of my practice, just what I think is fun and useful to others. I think you may be looking for more of a meditation based channel, and I highly recommend Tara Brach, she's one of my favorites and has some great talks on mindfulness, compassion, and what she calls "trance"- which I think relates to what you're talking about. Hope that helps you find something you can enjoy more and wishing you peace and power
