With those baton holders do you still have to slide heat resistant sleeving over the cables . It was always a requirements if the normal wiring gos straight to the lamp holder. I often use these baton holders in domestic properties with proper round back plates and I still sleeve the cables just on the off chance someone still fits a 100w lamp .
Obviously not a requirement on ceiling rose based baton holders.
Now we are 99% LED I often think what I do is not necessary. Any thoughts.?
