Always a plethora of great information, Jason, appreciate your sharing. I was just over on Robert’s latest post and he mentioned you helping out with some safety equipment. You guys inspire an old hunter to stay active and stay in the environment that gives me such pleasure . Thanks for your content and all the best in your endeavors.
@johntandycrabtree392 that's what all of us do. I honestly believe the job of an outdoorsman is to promote and help others enjoy the outdoors. Hearing you say we inspire you is what this is all about. I often think about what my life would be if I was not an outdoorsman. And I don't like it..lol this is the best way to live life and the people I have met thru the outdoors solidify that thought 100%
Thanks for the advice, Jason. This may be a dumb question...I plan on hunting the extended deer season in Dec/Jan here in PA. I prefer to shoot with a glove, but my shooting hand gets so cold that I can't feel the string. I tried using a tab over my winter gloves but that didn't work at all. Have you ever shot a bow using finger savers on your string (like they use for kids)? I was wondering if I could use my winter glove instead of my normal shooting glove and use finger savers. Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!
@@jscott4431 you can. But they can be finicky for arrow flight sometimes. We used them on our bowfishing bows for years and worked great. Another thingbi did when I shot with a glove was cut the 3 fingers out of a thick jersey glove so my shooting fingers poked thru
Hi Jason, this is a very good topic. You are a full-time professional hunter, you are a heavy user of the bow. But my case is different, I am a common user of the bow. I don't shoot as many arrows every day as you do. If my bowstring is not worn out, can I use it forever? Bowstrings are petrochemical products, and their lifespan is limited. After their lifespan, Bowstrings can become brittle or break. Can you tell me how long a bow string lasts? After how many years do I have to throw it away even if it's not worn out? Thank you.

Good tips! I’m wondering if you’ve ever tried BCY 652. Supposed to be very abrasion resistant and yet still soft shooting.
@@Matt-d8m i have not. Heard great things about it
I always run with two broken in gloves at all times. I'll break in a new glove prior to needing to replace a worn glove.

@@SamkoTradBow Good idea. Thanks much!
If your new to the game please place a caveat on tab/glove break in time. Initially the process can be mighty frustrating

@matthewy8923 i would recommend 2 years and replace. Some will say 3 is ok too. But I'd say 2
@SamkoTradBow
Thank you very much. I will do what you said.
