The kids ARE going to care. They will love looking at them now and when they’re older. I am OLDER so I know. So glad I made them.
I am a few years behind on my scrapbooks and my son asked me to catch up on them because he loves them.
Please never stop making videos! They take my morning from "I don't want to do anything/I don't know where to start". But I start watching your videos and I get moving! I'll replay them in the back ground just to keep cleaning and going!
I’m always so impressed at how much you do in just one day!! You’re an inspiration! If my kids were still young, you would’ve been “the woman across the room” for me!! Plus you look phenomenal for having five kids!! I’ve been working on almost 100 lbs I gained with my oldest for 30 years!!

My partner's sister gave him a scrapbook two years ago she had been working on since he graduated high school. He is 54. He loves it. Better late than never!

Honestly once my oldest turned 12 I stopped doing parties. Instead I have him pick 3-5 friends and he picks something way more special to do. Then we go out to dinner or lunch and I found they enjoy that SO MUCH MORE. One year he decided to do the escape rooms, one year it was to an amusement park, one year it was to the indoor skydiving, one year it was bowling, and one year it was sharkdiving (his 16th and most recent bday!) With that one I had him only pick 1 friend lol he also got his own car when he turned 16 so that was his huge thing for this year. My daughter is 10 and she has already said next year she doesn't want parties anymore but to do the same as we've been doing with our son. Zero pressure now! Love it
I had surgery and now I'm watching you from the hospital bed. You help me reduce the pain.I would like to be able to move and clean, I can't wait to get back to strength

My go-to movie with children of several ages is an older Disney movie called Flight of the Navigator. Some of my grown nephews still recite parts when we are together. I recall some name-calling, but don’t remember actual swear words. And so funny the kids were looking for brownies Saturday morning. 😂
As a 27 year old, I enjoy looking back at pictures from when I was a young kid.
28 and I love looking back on my shenanigans with my own kids now. It helps me remember that once I was in their shoes too, helps lighten me up a bit ❤

I think a 70” entertainment console would be just fine in that movie room. It doesn’t have to take up the whole space to look great! Just center it and it’ll be intentional.

Movies I loved as a kid: Parent Trap (from the 1960s), That Darn Cat (Haley Mills fan over here), The Boy Who Could Fly, Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken, Sweet 15, … then it was the 90s rom coms or dramas like Sleepless in Seattle, French Kiss (a completely underrated Meg Ryan movie), Far and Away (might have to fast forward a couple of scenes), only You, ooh and a myriad of late 90s fun ones like Clueless or Romy & Michelle’s High School Reunion.
I love the coastal blue and have an artificial tree on each end to take up the additional wall space.
Favorite moment…10:01…Kim is that YOU??? (sees bird nest out the window) Oh my gosh by the way…BEST as always! ❤️😂🤣😂❤️
We just watched George of the Jungle🦁🦍 with Brendan Frasier. Forgot how cute it was! Great for a family movie night!!🍿

We had a birdsnest on our porch. A baby fell out and passed. I came home and a turtle had it in his mouth. My deck is 6ft up and has only stairs. How the heck did a box turtle get up there?? Nature is wild. That's forsure.

I totally obsess over photo books too! I'm currently in the middle of trying to get my boys books done. I make them one every year and one for my mom and in-laws with all three boys. It's a process but they love them.
Hey Kim. When looking for pineapple at the store look for yellowish the yellow means it's riper and sweeter. Oh and I saw a brownie hack. Grease a mini muffin pan to make brownie bites. Bake 10- 15mins @ 350*. It's like you get the end piece every time.
The sauces looks Delicious! Meredith gets it, Why would you not make brownies when you have ALL the toppings! I can already imagine my serving with White Chocolate sauce and the funfettis? Aw! Delish!
A cute and funny cartoon movie I like is "Barnyard." I am waiting for Inside Out 2 to come out on a streaming service. I thought the first one was amazing. Have you watched the movie "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" with your kids yet? We love you Kim, you're the perfect bestie.❤

Hi Kim, I'm sure your kids will love your scrapbooking albums. Though I prefer the physical ones where I can get my hands in glue & ink etc. I just love that. I've made my kids' small birthday albums & they love those! I also made one for my husband too! He thinks it neat. I made extra pages so I can go back in it for each year & put the new ones' pics & some writing in. He's a character! I put pics of him acting like Groucho Marks! You're probably too young to know who he is! He was a comedian! He's good at it! Well, you did great on your digital scrapbooking albums! Your dinner looks good too! We have a shutterfly book and I don't think my 4 year old realizes that I designed the book, he just thinks it's a book about him and it's so cute! I'm also 2 years behind on printing my pictures, I do photo albums and we are filling up #6 with 1000 slots.
If you buy the little plastic containers with lids ( jello shot size) you can individually portion the popcorn seasoning for the littles ❤❤❤

I'm 8 weeks pregnant, my grandad is in hospice and I've a 4 year old and 2 year old. My house is completely upside-down and can't remember the last proper meal I cooked. I'll get there 😅😅 thanks for the inspiration, Kim
All my kids gradually grew out of big birthday parties. I did think they would go on forever but they came to an end before I was prepared. They wanted a family dinner and an outing with a few special friends 🎉❤🎉❤
That what mine did. It was about the ages of 13-15. My son lasted the longest. My girls were 13 and decided they just wanted their closest friends, and they wanted it to be a sleepover with movies. I was mixed on feelings about it. I was a bit sad because they were growing up, but I happy too because it was cheaper and less chaotic. Girl parties always seemed more difficult than boy parties. Now, this was the 90s and early 2000s. Thankfully, keeping up with the Jonses wasn't a thing in our little town. Internet didn't have control yet.
The one thing I will say is just enjoy things because with a snap of the fingers, they are moving 3000 miles away and starting families of their own.

We had water bottle issues at our house too with 6 kids. I threw them all away bc I was tired of dealing with 100 bottles and straws, etc too. Each kid got a yeti. The ones with the chug caps. They each have their names on them done with a cricut and they only get water (or LMNT) in them. They each are responsible for their own water bottle and it has worked fabulous for us for the last 3 years. Good luck!! 😅

Go to homedepot or Lowes. Get 4 24” cabinets. Paint it whatever color you want. Find a countertop and BAM! Custom cabinets for storage and functionality that will fit the space and not break the budget
