I’m reminiscing! In 1987 when I married and went to fill my registry at the local department store, I discovered dish patterns to be in the hundreds of dollars for just one place setting. Then I spied the “Heartland by International” pattern that is same as the cheese cutting plate Kim showed here. Farmer and wife and all farm animals, this was so ME and so I acquired most everything they had: Dishes, platters, potato bin, etc. is so cute and now considered “Vintage”. O Mi ❤️!

In reference to the peanut butter cups from Aldi, my older son gave me a half bag of those recently. It was only a half bag because he used them for a recipe and thought I would like the rest and because he loves his mama and likes to see me happy. They are truly manna from heaven. That being said and also because you have mentioned Pennsylvania several times, I will reference a candy company in Central PA that is known for their peanut butter meltaways---Gardners Candies. This company is based in Tyrone, PA but sells throughout the state if not beyond. The Aldi peanut butter cups are very equal in taste and quality, less expensive also. Although I do love some Gardners. Please don't come at me haters. Kim you are the Goddess of all. I bow to you. Keeping it all rollin and REAL. (That should be on a tshirt)

I actually found that candle! I bought it for my daughter who loves books and is a librarian 😊 It smells exactly how you think it would, just like book paper. It’s amazing!!💗
Where are the spoons? My baby is 25 now. We have four kids. We started redoing our gardens, and where did I find all the spoons in the garden along with 100s of marbles and match box cars and one lost barbie. Brought back so many memories. Love your videos.❤

If you like the scrambled pancakes, maybe you should look up "Kaiserschmarren" it's an Austrian dessert very similar to your pancakes and easy to make. By the way, the scrambled pancakes will taste even better with a fruit compote, fruit sauce or apple sauce!

Hi Kim. I found a pretty easy way to keep watermelon because I'm only 1 person. I cut the watermelon in half put the leftover half directly flat side down on a dinner plate so not exposed to air no wrapping necessary and put that half in my garage fridge it will stay fresh for a week like it was never cut. So simple yet genius.

Ty for keeping me motivated to stay busy! About the chickens, we figured out that 1 of our hens was eating her eggs + another hens, & sharing it w/1 of the roosters! We figured it out bc they make unique sounds when they're laying an egg. Look for signs of broken egg shells, or maybe eggs laid somewhere randomly. I read online that it won't harm them to eat their own eggs, especially the shells. Still, I think it's weird, & I'd rather not have a chicken just recycling food & eggs... Maybe it's the heat? Hope they start laying again soon, & you can figure out what's going on

I do 350g of water in my sourdough. I use the overnight sourdough recipe it’s the best. I also have started to do 400g of bread flour and 100g of whole wheat flour!

Teach them how to use the washer, they can throw them in the dryer, fold, hang or put in their drawers. I'm old enough to be your momma, raised two daughters and taught them this, they survived.

Chickens lay for 10 months, stop, go thru a moult, then start up again after their moult. Their eggs will be larger too, when they start laying again.
