- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this NEW Wads for dinner dinner inspiration video! I filmed what I made for dinner this week and OH YES! as usual, all new recipes and all bangers! PEOPLE! dinner can be something you look forward to if you find some fun recipes to try to get you out of your dinner rut! I need some meal inspiration and Kim’s energy. I was measuring ingredients yesterday and said to myself, “be like Kim and just eyeball it.” It went a lot faster and everything tasted great!
I've started doing the same and I am happy to report that cooking has been way more fun
I’ve taken Kim’s cleaning service advice. “It’s good enough” lol. Now my motto too.

It hurts to eye ball it lol 😉 cooking yes but baking I feel like step by step I'd important otherwise it doesn't turn out.
That's how I usually do it. My mother is soooo good at it. Once she showed her pouring flour and told me that was 2 cups. To prove it, she poured it into another bowl and measured it with the cup back into the other bowl, and it was exactly 2 cups.

Kim, you have to know how much I truly enjoy watching your videos… I’m a WFPB (whole food plant based) VEGAN and I still watch every single meal you post. I love how you create so many fancy meals for your family… I can’t believe how much time you put into planning and making your meals… the Food Network really should be calling you any day now!!!
@debbyjo123- same!! I also Am starting to be WFPB. But, Kim draws me in every time! Such a likable person. My husband said he will NEVER be vegan so, I do Use Kim’s videos to get inspo for him. But in general, Kim always makes the best food and takes time for her family to have homemade meals.

I’m not sure who you are asking, but I get most of my recipes from Chef AJ, Nutmeg Note, Sam Turnbull from It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken (I hope that’s the right name!) Ann & Jane Esselstyn, (might have spelled that wrong) and Chef Julia Dunaway. Ohhh and vegan Richa… I’ll go get the full name for her channel. All of these ladies have UA-cam channels. ((I’ll go check Sam Turnbull, because her recipes are fantastic!!))
@@Esh486 yes… those names are correct. Also, if you like what they prepare, they have websites that you can sign up for free emails and you get recipes from them. Also, I downloaded the app called PAPRIKA (free) and I save their recipes there. That’s makes it super easy to print when you’re ready to make it.
@@debbyjo123 I was asking you :) I'm vegan and mostly whole foods based, and even if I wasn't, I keep kosher so I couldn't make her exact recipes anyways :) But I do still love Kim! Thank you so much for all of your suggestions. I'll definitely check them out.💞💞

I think it is absolutely WONDERFUL that your family eats everything you make, especially when you try new recipes. So jealous! My husband and my kids are so picky, so we always eat the same things on repeat. And my mother in law cooks lunch for us almost every day, so it's the same things over there, too. 😂

For pad thai, you want to soak the noodles in hot water, not boil them, then drain and heat them in a pan with the sauce so that it absorbs the sauce and takes on that brownish color. The instructions for it will be on the package of the noodles. It will come out much better and more like the pad thai you get from thai restaurants.

Oh boy!!! Another video from my favorite UA-camr!!! Time to get this party started with Kim… hope I get to see Wolfgang and sweet little Meredith… they are both growing up so fast. I was at Costco the other day and saw a princess dress that I know Meredith would love… lol, maybe she already has that dress. It’s so cute how she loves to dress up in all those princess dresses. That sad day will come when she outgrows wanting to dress up like that. I never had a girl, so I think that’s why I enjoy seeing her dress up like she does.

My daughter homeschools her 7 kids. They were studying Thailand and at the end of the week we were invited over to watch the king and I and she made pad thai. I had never had before but it was yummy. She makes it a lot and her kids love it!

Fluffer nutter is the marshmallow creme and peanut butter sandwich. I loved eating them as a kid! And still do on occasion!
If you put the marshmallow cream in the microwave for about 20 seconds it makes it easier to spread !!

Another awesome video Kim. 2 tips, put your garlic cloves in a bowl with a lid on top and the skin will come off. Also, put a damp tea towel under your cutting board. Reduces the risk of injury to you! Thanks for sharing.

Everything looked so yummy!!! One thing I can tell everyone is so good- Make how ever many potatoes in the Microwave. Split it open, add butter,salt, pepper and your fav. shredded chs Then top it with your fav chopped BBQ Protein. OMG! I think I want to make these into single lunch Freezer Meals!! They are so good! Yummy!!

I’m going to give you a great tip is to take two piece of paper towels and totally soak it down with water and squeeze out the extra and then lay it flat under your cutting broad it willnt move as much… You also can do this with a small kitchen towel…Love Love ❤️ this channel….You deserves to get to a million 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Brussel sprouts and string beans are probably my least fave veggies and zucchini and mushrooms are fave.
I always add in bacon and corn in my mac n cheese, then bread crumbs on top & baked till golden. That bbq pulled pork looks delicious
I would have to say favorite veggies- tie between broccoli & tomatoes; least favorite: don't eat mushrooms. All the dishes look delicious!! I don't eat mac n cheese: but pulled pork & m&c sounds totally interesting!!?? Mmmm?!
When boiling pasta as long as it’s not on super high lay a wooden spoon over the pot it helps not to boil over.

My grandmother used to make this and we called Mississippi mud cake.
I work at the hard rock and we have a mac & cheese with pulled pork. It is something I wouldn’t have thought about but a lot of people order it. Anyhow, working with it for nine years, I’ve never thought to try it or make it at home. Maybe I’ll have to do that now.

I live in texas and have never heard this being called Texas mud 😂. For most it’s actually Mississippi mud cake. Not to be confused with the pie which is different. Texas has Texas sheet cake which is similar in parts.

Meat in my freezer I say 6-12 months depending on how it is packaged! Now chicken 6 months or less also depends on the packaging! I don’t have a unfavorite vegetable I love vegetables!
Not really relevant to this video, but the crock pot lid comment reminded me... I was watching an old video (last Easter, maybe? I don't know, there were several hams that did not fit in any crock pot available) and wondered to myself if you had ever thought about purchasing a roaster oven. It's like a giant crock pot (18-22+ quarts). It would probably only be useful for large family gatherings/birthday parties/etc., so it would take up a lot of space in storage. I've been keeping an eye out for one at Goodwill (I've heard people say that they have found them for $30) since it would only be useful a few times a year.
