I recently tested this bike, it's similarities to the Engwe Engine Pro 2.0 are very clear but it is a whole different riding experience.
The power delivery is great, performance on hills and the speed it offers are superb
#vitilan #ebike
I used to have a i7 Pro, good little bike. Very comfortable and very good leg extension to the pedals.
Cracking bike for the money
Andy referral here. Looking forward to watching your channel!
Hi Jill, Andy is a gent for the mention. Avoid Wednesdays as they are currently bike reviews lol
Andy sent me, so pleased he did. Your just my cup of tea. 🍵🍵🍵🍵
Cheers Helen, Andy is a dude
@@Nobby77 He sertanly is. Thank you. 👍
Great review as always, been checking out a load of your stuff. Pretty much narrowed my first ebike decision down to this or the engwe e26. Which would you say? Im 6ft and drive mostly cycle paths with some steap hills.
This one
@@Nobby77thanks. Any idea on the differences between the 2.0 and 3.0? Doesn't seem to be much other than an updated screen on the 3.0 and the bafang motor on the 2.0.
@@DarrenRoberts123 Sorry mate Ive only tested the one on this video so anything I say would be made up. I only really try to explain hoe the bike feels and performs so without getting on it I can't say much
The camera falling was perfect timing, lol.
Bolts for Kickstand WILL work loose and can potentially fall off. The screws for the LCD need locktite or they WILL fall out. Hinge stops squeeking quite quickly. Overall it is an amazing bike and loads of fun. Either locktite your bolts (calipers, screen, kickstand and rear rack) or be prepared to check them frequently.
Great looking bike good review as always Nobby it's definitely got some power looks good you definitely got a good format for these video's nice one Nobby atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Easy format mate, stand by bike and waffle, ride bike and waffle while complaining about ass, stand by bike and waffle
@@Nobby77 🤣🤣🤣
Very polite of the camera to fall at the end of a segment, not once but twice 😂
Got to work with what you are dealt lol
Nice video. Is it better than engine pro 2.0? I can’t decide which one to buy…
I kept my engine pro 2.0. It depends what you are looking for. The vitilan has really quick power delivery and is the best cadence sensor I've ridden. It has upgraded parts. But I prefer the torque sensor, personal preference
Loved this video thanks mate. Do you think it will fit into the side door of a jag xf when folded up?
I really couldn't say mate, it went in the boot of a seat Leon with seats nudged forward
@@Nobby77 thanks for the quick reply!!! You're a huge help much appreciated:)
I don't have a hatchback and I can't find the dimensions for som reason but do you reckon you'd fit it through the side doors of your seat? Cheers
@@jnj5904 probably struggle. Possibly if you dropped the handle bars and seat, folded the pedals but not the frame. Not tried it tho
Same power unit as yesterday but delivers a better power delivery ... Still liked the other yesterdays 😂
It had the cool factor for sure
I'm torn between the PRO/2.0/3.0 models. The 20AH batteries and cadence sensor of the 2.0 appeal to me (mobility issues), but the price of the PRO is a good selling point for my tight budget. I'm upgrading from and old GIO P710 so either of these models will be a huge improvement for me. Any advice on selection choice?
I have only tested the 2.0. It does offer a lot of bang for the buck
@@Nobby77 Thanks for the feedback. I'm about to order the 2.0 this morning. :)
@ABC-po6be did you buy the 2.0 or 3.0 the 3.0 has better interface on the lcd display
@@mkk1776 The 2.0 arrived earlier this week and I love it. The 3.0's upgraded display would have been nice but I'm still happy as could be with the 2.0. The Bafang motor rips and the cadence sensor works great for me as a person with mobility issues. So far, I'm a huge fan of Vitilan - the 2.0 is a great bike.
@@ABC-po6be .are you UK based? Hope you have a great time with your new bike. I'm thinking of getting the bike too.
hello, is that big Vitilan logo removable? is it just a sticker?
Believe so
How can you record video while driving? Where can you buy the holder? Please
Insta 360 camera with selfie stick mate
@@Nobby77 Thanks 😍
Great review mate, same comment as the previous...same motor and better power delivery as yesterday's bike, but that one looked so much better, which would you choose? 👍🤙
Gun to my head out of those two..... Probably the vitilan as I'd use it more. The M20 is a real bit of fun tho
Please could tell me the best and safest place to buy this.
Link in description mate
Good looking bike. Cheers
Nobby great for getting about on go for it ps weres the nos switch on it
Feels like it's got one
Would you know how the throttle is disengaged? I tried asking vitilan and they implied I'd need another screen to do so. Does the throttle reduce to the walking speed UK requirement?
Turn off, squeeze and hold brakes and while turning on. Keep them held for 8-10 seconds and then release. That should activate and deactivate throttle
@@Nobby77 amazing!! 👍
@@Nobby77did you try this? I received the bike but it doesn't seem to deactivate the throttle. It does something because 25mph flashes in the center of the screen and then disappears when I let go.
I did it to activate the throttle mate but should do both. Failing that the throttle can be unplugged
@@Nobby77 ah mine came with it already working. Just thinking about the worst case scenario if I got stopped then I could quickly disengage it.
I would say this has more usable power compared to the Engwe. A new Engwe review video came out today and the guy could barely get up a 8 degree hill. You were quickly getting up 10 degree climbs without any problems.
The engwe engine pro I find has better power delivery due to the torque sensor.
Not sure which bike was struggling up hill but I've had no issues dude. This is one of the best cadence sensors I have tested tho
looks identical to the Engwe Engine Pro but with a different name brand
Different drive, upgraded components
Get the upgraded saddle £33. The i7 is a big heavy bike. The only drawback is it has cut out a couple of times, but a dream to ride. 4.5*
It impressed me mate
No punctures today? Better tyres?
Defo better tyres but in fairness to the engine pro I pulled out a 2 inch metal spike from the tyre. It had gone through both sides of the tube
@@Nobby77 probably made it worse by carrying on and not repairing it cos you didn’t have a repair kit lol. Bloody Remf lol.
if you wanted to change the speed how do you do it
Not sure off the top of my head mate, should be plenty of vids on YT.
If i didn't need a car I would have bought one of these with the BMX style bars they now offer. The Mrs said no more ebikes until we replace the car lol
If you replace an old Ebike you haven't strictly got "more"
Are you likely to review the engwe L20?
Really can't say mate, I don't approach any companies they contact me.
@@Nobby77 no worries, I'll just have to keep watching your videos, interesting, informative and entertaining, thanks for taking the time and effort to make them 👍
@trevorturner7682 that was my cunning plan all along dude pmsl. Cheers mucker (I did review the L20 SE if it helps)
@@Nobby77 yeah I did watch that one, that one seems to be out of stock all the time plus I prefer the look of the L20 with fat tires 👍
You need to check out the new DJI EBikes Im almost tempted But I ride a BMW s1000 so properly not yet Love your vids Respect 👍
Cheers dude
@@Nobby77 Honest dude they look the dogs.... electric stuff im not sure about just saying
@@Supracrm got to say I'm getting to like them. But If it's a toss up between 2 stroke or electric I'm going 2 stroke every day
@@Nobby77 Agree Had a kh250 a ypvs 350 and sherco 300 Two strokes all the way Love those smelly bastards that put a smile on your face that's enough for me big thumbs up Old school wins ... riding them might make your channel explode just saying not saying your not doing good you are.. cool Bud
@Supracrm I loved my old Rd 350 ypvs
Sounds like a good bike, just not keen on the look if I'm honest.
It'd fly you up those hills lol
too bad its already outdated, they just released the 3.0 .....
Still a good bike
if you're in the usa all the cars are driving on the uk side, wrong side.
if you were in the usa you wouldnt have to keep an eye out for cops.
at those speeds i'd at least wear gloves and elbows, my bike only does 23mph , wouldn't want to go faster.
i have a 4 stroke 49cc engine on a beach cruiser pedal bike, no good for long trips like you take but good around town.
I had one on an old mountain bike, chinesium engines don't last long
Hi 16 mph,
30 un restricted
Look like your peddling way too hard, why one wonders
