I am trying to decide between the Vitilan I7 Pro 3 and the Engwe Engine Pro 2.
Does the cadence sensor in the vitilan I7 pro cause the bike to speed off dangerously? Compared to the seemingly more controlled torque sensor of the Engine Pro?
Also, the throttle only goes to 20 mph on the Engwe Engine Pro. Is it a little bit slow?
I think I am veering towards the I7 pro 3, but im just interested to know if anyone could give me their experiences on either of these bikes.

Hi,welcome to the nightmare of deciding which Fat tyre E-Bike to get lol.
      ViTiLAN-i7 Pro 2
      48V 20Ah 960Wh battery.
      80 Nm 750w Bafang motor.
      180mm Hydraulic Disc Brakes.
      18 Months Warranty.
      Engwe Engine Pro 2.0,
      52V 16Ah 832Wh battery
      75 Nm Unknown motor.
      160mm Hydraulic Disc Brakes
      12 Months Warranty.
The ViTiLAN-i7 Pro 3 does not have a Bafang motor, and the display is different.
The acceleration is instant and fast, but the default for PAS 2 is only 11Mph,and the180mm hydraulic disc brakes are very good.
I go into 0 (No power) when my i7 Pro 2 is stationary, then in 2 to get started, then PAS 3 that gives me around 18Mph-21Mph.
PAS 4 and 5 (for me) are more like Sport and Turbo modes,I use them for a mad ten minutes across country or,short bursts to get up very steep hills.
Fastest I've been so far is 33.7Mph,and furthest is 37 Miles with 2 bars out of 5 left on the display.
My ViTiLAN came with some minor issues that took me a few weeks of riding to fix, apart from the display, that I can't see in sunlight.
I haven't owned an Engwe Engine Pro 2.0,or any Engwe E-Bike.

@EBR-UK Thanks for the reply. It's proving to be a much tougher sescision than I thought....1st world problems ehh.😄
I am a little concerned the new motor on the pro 3 won't be as good as the Bafang. The pro 2 seems to be sold out in Ireland.
I am not seeing any new reviews for this newer version. I wonder if it still has the same torque settings and overall capability.
The Engwe Engine Pro seems to be the steady option, albeit a little safe.

For me, the difference that made me choose the PVY z20 Plus 1000 was the frame design. In my opinion (not expert) the PVY frame which is the same as a Mate X, has a better rear suspension design. The rear shock that PVY ships, is actually bad, but if you upgrade it I'm expecting that you will be with a more reliable bike than the Engwe's Engine Pro style frame.
What is your opinion on this? Which frame design do you prefer?

This looks to be a very nice Fat Tyre E-Bike at a very attractive price.
I have had a bike very similar to this for around 4 years now, it's a good bike with one or two negatives. I like to ride along canal tow paths, and on tow paths which have ruts made in them made by many bikes traveling along them. The ruts tend to act like tram lines, and the small wheels get stuck in the ruts and I have been thrown off the bike on more than one occasion. I have never had this happen with my bike with 26 inch fat tyres. I have also had the battery lock get jammed up with grit from mud being thrown up from the front wheel, and then had to remove the lock from the battery and clean it out.

'24.4 miles today (342 total so far) two bars on the display used.
Mainly PAS-3/4 on cycle lanes using throttle, too humid to pedal.'
'32.1 miles today (374 total so far) three bars on the display used.

52V is good, but not too much better than the 48V of the vitilan. The good thing is that these bikes are generic frames and you can fit higher voltage controllers, batteries and even 1000w+ motors in them if you so desire to make a better or faster bike for yourself. Hi,you have to get the E-Bike that suits you for how and where you are going to ride it,based on your budget.
Two important things are the E-Bike motor Nm and battery Wh,and then there's laws, and risks.
Start with what type of frame/style of E-Bike you would need, and what you want the frame to have, like built in back suspension, carry handle, battery hidden inside the frame,on top of it,step through,or over, back carry wrack with wired in back brake light and indicators on it,or not etc.
Take a look through this channels videos to see different frames and styles.
Not all new versions of E-Bikes are better,my new 2nd version E-Bike,I got a few months ago has a well known branded Bafang motor, the new latest 3rd version doesn't.
Some older versions of E-Bikes have a slightly less battery Wh/distance,if a few more miles per charge doesn't matter to you, they will be cheaper.
Good luck finding the E-bike that is right for you, you're going to need it lol, 👍

Hey mate! Thank you so much for all your amazing reviews! I've literally been glued to your channel for the past week or two, trying to decide on my first purchase. I'm looking for a folding bike with a good range (ideally a solid 100km on low level pas), also with some good torque and power (unlockable etc), around the 1 grand price mark (give or take) and preferably pretty easy to move about when folded (and to sling in the back of the car). I've been looking at this bike, the pivy z20 max, the pivy z20 plus 1000, the ado airs, engwes! I'm really finding it hard to make a decision. I'm in my 40's, 6ft but a svelt 64kg, which presumably might help with range? If you can offer any advice, it would be much appreciated! What would you go for?
