Oddly enough I think Bed of Chaos would work fairly well in Sekrio/Elden Ring where you'd be able to jump over the sweep attacks. Sekiro especially so if there were grapple points to escape the pits. So here's how I would improve Bed of Chaos. Instead of the pits being an instant death I'd have it drop you into a mini area of sorts that you exit by dropping onto the top of the slide/coming out under where it drops you. Still that's a video idea. How would you improve these bosses/worst levels
I've heard the best improvement for Bed of Chaos being that if you got knocked into the pits there'd be a lower level where some chaos demons would be hanging around and you'd have to work your way up. Would honestly be a huge improvement for the fight and fitting for the character too.
Haven’t tried it since the nerf and I’m running out of old save files to pick up and start the dlc from. What’s different? Is it noticeably better? Can you see what’s going on in phase 2 any better or is it just damage reduction?

Probably a hot take, but I'd put moonlight butterfly as the most annoying boss in DS1, just because the two options when fighting it with a melee build are to either switch to ranged, or stand around waiting for what feels like forever for it to land while needing to dodge annoying ranged attacks if not using a shield
For demons souls, I'd actually say Old Allant is the most annoying. His up close attacks come out so fast, weird tracking and hit boxes, I don't think any other boss annoys me like he does. I could never be annoyed by Jori and the boys. All the inquisitor type enemies are too cute with their tangled horns and little veils for me to ever be mad at them.
Whith the bed of chaos what I ended up doing my last playthrough was putting on full Giant Armor and a havel shield with whichever ring that increases your poise. That way when those annoying af sweep attacks come as long as you have your sheild up it just barely pushes your character back just a little instead of completely sending him flying.
I haven't played Shadow of the Erdtree myself but watching the PlayFrame run of it now and seeing the boss you chose I admit I laughed sadistically as you described the fight because it seems like he has basically the same exact build, can't wait XD
You are one of my absolute favorite Soulsborne UA-camrs and so far in Dark Souls 3, my favorite boss is Dancer of the Boreal Valley. My least favorite is Aldrich but I know my problem with him is that I just want to finish the fight because I’m not particularly fond of mage boss fights.
In my first encounter with Jori, I never gave the fight much thought, because I beat him on my first try. When I started opening myself up for summons, though... that was when annoyances started to become apparent.
Ngl, for me, Aldrich is something else. For some reason, no matter what I do, he arrow-spams me. I actually find greatwood manageable, bcs you can easily just come back to it and trivialise the fight
Have you heard of the spell vow of silence? It blocks all of his magic attacks including the annoying arrow rain for 30 seconds and you can just spam it. It needs 30 FTH though I believe
Very nice list. The only one I personally disagree with is Jori, as while annoying, I found the fight pretty intriguing - they could reduce the magic spam, but the summoning part was pretty cool. It was kinda like how Rellana uses summons in her second-second phase, but this time it's the main focus of the fight rather than a side thing. But I can understand the annoyance, absolutely - the only reason I personally disagree is because there is a boss much more annoying for me, that has no redeeming qualities (and even Bed of Chaos has the redeeming point of a cool design and slide). Godskin Duo. It annoys me on various points of design. Of course it's a copy of a good boss, but instead of being a gauntlet (like Spirit Summoning Snail fight in Mountaintops), it's a shoveled in duo of two aggressive enemies that has no synergy whatsoever. The pillars in the fight try to be like OnS, but they can get broken - opening you up for fireballs, and they don't have indents like in OnS fight, so you need to position yourself correctly for the fatty to not roll over from the side. And they respawn continuously until you deplete health bar, no reason for that at all. However, what annoys me the most is their weakness - sleep. There is no hint about it across the game, so if you found it on your own, you're either lying or used Sword of St. Trina for the whole playthrough for some reason. Without signs or internet, it's literally impossible to figure out, since sleep lasts very shortly on most enemies, and most bosses are immune, so you can drive any logic from this. But what even was the intent? Sleep one and reduce the fight to 1v1? Why not just make it a 1v1 in the first place? Same with idea of summons, if you have to use a summon to make it into a 1v1, why not just have it 1v1 from the start? Burst them down before they manage to make a move, so you don't get overwhelmed? With all other bosses (bad or annoying) I at least could see what the devs were trying to achieve, and I respect them for trying, even if they failed like with Bed of Chaos. But with Godskin Duo? It feels like thought process was negative, and that's what annoys me the most.
Okay, here's my list good sir. Only going with the games I've palyed and own, so just DS2, DS3, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. DS2: Blue Raspberry Smelter. I know many people hate Lud and Zallen and say fridged outskirts is the worst area in the game, but I disagree since if you just put a bonfire halfway in it, it's somewhat salvaged. There is no salvaging the Iron Passage, or cave of the dead for that matter. Also, at least the NPCs in fridged outskirts are helpful, the only way to get any real help in Iron Passage would be to summon real people. The only upside is after beating it and going to new game plus, you can just beat tomato smelter and get the same weapon. Bloodborne: Living Failures. It doesn't matter in any way, shape or form how leveled I am or what build I'm using, the failures are always an unwelcome roadblock to one of my favorite Bloodborne bosses and I will always hate them for it. They're not even a hard boss, just drawn out and annoying to fight. DS3: Aldritch. Arrow rain. I don't think I need to say any more. But I would like the record to show the only reason it's Aldritch and not Gael or Halflight spear of the church is that Gael is actually a well designed boss and Halflight is just the equivalent of an npc invader so I don't even count it as an actual boss. Elden Ring pre nerf: Promised Consort Radahn. Post nerf: Still Promised Consort Radahn. I've beaten him a total of 3 times, once pre nerf. That run, i just let Taylew do the fighting and it still took several tries lasting several minutes. I only won due to also utilizing scarlet rot. Second run, post nerf, I didn't see the nerf made any kind of noticable difference, so it was just luck I finally won. Third run, see how Asmongold beat him, I just did basically the same thing but with frostbite rather than bleed. That fight is the same as the video describes the greatwood.
The curse-rotted-greatwood is definately a fair pick, but the most annoyying for me was the champion gravetender just because the greatwolf is a genuinely fantastic boss, but he has this little basterd stuck onto him to hide behind his sheild the entire time and stagger you to death. Having a great boss dragged down by one of the most insufferable amoung a game of insufferable NPC's just makes it sting more.
Mostly agree. In DS3 I’d say Aldrich for the arrows or King of the Storm for the one shot downwards flame. That’s especially bad as Nameless king was pretty easy when I could actually get there
2:00 my first man eater experience was them falling under the bridge and flying (and that was In the remake) so I went on forums trying to understand what to do before plunging myself from the bridge
Darklurker's horrible runback can be easily avoided if you open the final path from Shaded Woods and basically doing it backwards from Drangleic Castle
DeS: Maneaters DS1: Bed of Chaos (if there was a bonfire closeby I'd definitely give this to something else, maybe Moonlight Butterfly or Ceaseless Discharge if he doesn't decide to jump at you) DS2: Lud & Zullen (the runback is def worse than Darklurker and the fight sucks) BB: Rom DS3: Ancient Wyvern (it's just annoying to do, Wolnir runner up if he decides to walk forward or move his hands into the fog lol) Sekiro: Duo Apes (don't think the illusion monk is annoying though even if the encounter is meh) ER: Malenia? (Playing around Waterfowl Dance is not fun in the slightest. I actually love the Jori fight but I understand. Promised Consort prepatch would've been my original pick, but he seems a lot better now. There are a lot of bosses in this game that have some quirk that irritates the shit out of me)
I don’t get the elder inquisitor hate. I think he’s a great mage mini boss. You have to lure his adds away from him and then strike. He could be better but I still enjoy the fight. By the some people say he later returns as a regular enemy but is that really true? I’ve never seen him outside of his arena.
Man eaters were the first major roadblocl I ran into in Demon souls remake. I finally ended up leveling my str a bit and using fire buff to kill the first man eater before second one can even come closer. But about Jori she is one of the easiest bosses in DLC. Really the only annoying part is that she is about human sized but her poise is almost infinity as she hardly staggers. But if you treat her like shadows of Yharnam then she is easy and it is a pretty easy fight. Just run to one side and dodge roll occasionally to escape her projectiles. And for that magic that spawns under you keep running and back stab. You just have to be quick on it.
This might be a hot take but the boss that annoys me the most in Bloodborne is Amygdala. Some weapons seem completely incapable of hitting its head even when it's bent down, so you have to chip away at its tail and legs, which gets incredibly tedious. However I've also laid it flat in 20 seconds with certain weapons-Threaded Cane in whip mode cut through its head so quickly. I agree Rom is annoying, the teleporting is very irritating and the small spiders are annoying to fight on their own with their hard heads and oddly high damage, not to mention the comet magic. The fight feels pretty arbitrary, which makes it annoying even though it's not hard. But I've usually had a worse time with Amygdala personally. As for Micolash, he is definitely annoying on repeat playthroughs but I agree there's some fun in fighting a man with a cage on his head who tries to punch you and says crazy things. And he does have set reactions during the chase sequences, which you can figure out (or look up) to get him into the room more quickly.
Hard disagree on Demon Souls. Dragon God actively made me want to stop playing the game, it's not hard but it's the worst pace breaker in the entire FromSoft catalog, especially after an great battle with the Flamelurker.
i agree with the bloodborne pick, i despise Roms drop meteors from the sky attack whilst i have to fight of all the spiders, and i personally find micolash's shenaigans hilrarious instead of annoying so i dont wend if i do die to micolash having to deal with it again, because micolash is funny to me
The most annoying sekiro boss so far has been the 2 ninja guys in the room before fighting owl (had to cheese them making the weaker one a puppet) and the identical boss when you return to hirata estate that infinitely summons 3 dogs that can't even be one shottet. It also sucks that you have to fight this boss at least 3 times in different places and that it's just a stronger version with 2 healtbars of an enemy I already struggle fighting. Second pick would be orin because the fight doesn't really have a flow, she randomly disappears or just loses ger hitbox but then hits back extremely hard, idk how I would have even beaten her if I didn't randomly find out she's extremely weak to the poison sabimaru. Haven't beaten ape duo yet, and I'm thinking about just leaving that one out because it really sucks, gank fights in this game are abyssmal imo
My ranking: DeS: Maneaters for sure DS1: Bed of Chaos, no surprise there, though I think it’s a format worth giving another try DS2: Royal Rat Authority. Or more specifically, its little toxic dogs DS3: Ancient Wyvern. The idea of a set piece boss where you have to conquer a gauntlet to kill it is great! But Ancient Wyvern has nothing going for it beyond that idea, and lessens the quality of the game’s best area because of it. BB: Hot take: Cleric Beast, for simply having an utterly obscene amount of health for the game’s first boss ER: Godfrey/Hoarah Loux with their non-stop aoes, endless procession of grabs, and annoying combos
Does does everyone ignore Seath, he has a two minuet runback, (worse that BoC), undodgeable screen-wide spike attacks, literally zero telegraphs if your close enough to hit him, and inflicts curse, not to mention the clams that like to invade and the runback being invisible platforms over lethal falls.
@@gabebernhard4601 i mean, if literally one attack is one of your few listed reasons for calling the fight bad then thats insane when literally any gank fight, fire giant or wolf of radagon are more annoying
@@Iamverykarpy I don’t like the majority of his attacks, that’s just the one you specifically asked about. I love Red Wolf and Fire Giant, and I don’t even think Godfrey is a bad or poorly designed boss, I just find fighting him annoying, that’s all. It’s alright for us to have different opinions on bosses.
For me, in Bloodborne are Micolash and Laurence. God I hate them so much, especially Laurence, he is the right definition of bull bull. The fact you have to run and try not to get hit by the enemy everytime you try to reach his arena. His fire attacks are super annoying, two hits and you're done, even if you just approach can burn you and cause you damage. And his second phase, which by far, you have to be super flawless in his first phase so you can have enough blood vials to deal with his second. Gosh, the lava and his slam attacks was to much for me. Screw Laurence >:V ....and in Dark Souls, Capra Demon is the worst. Two dogs with the boss in a small room, which is imposible to roll or move properly, like really? And it can kill you the first 3 seconds when you enter the arena...hate the boss >:c
Have to disagree on DS3. Deacons was always easy and straightforward for me, but maybe it's because I favor big horizontal sweep weapons. And Curse-Rotted Greatwood isn't bad. More tedious than annoying. It's High Lord Wolnir's one-shot darkness barf attack and the horrible camera angles that annoy me
Id fight rom a hundred times before id want to fight micolash. Rom you can just kinda pop a pellet and go ham, all or nothing. Micolash you have to run around for minutes just to get to the fight part, only to get one shot by one of his stupid attacks and have to do it all over again. There is literally no fun whatsoever in that fight and its definently bottom 3 out of all from bosses
The Greatwood, really? Pop all the blisters in the first phase except for the ones on the crotch (as popping these triggers the phase transition), then pop like two more after the phase transition and then the regenerated crotch blisters again. Done. That fight's over in three minutes tops. If you want an annoying boss in DS3 you should have picked the Ancient Wyvern instead because the headstab can miss for whatever reason and then you have to run the entire snakemen gauntlet again.
My list is pretty similar. Maneaters, absolute worst in Demons Souls. Bee of Chaos, worst boss ever created by FromSoft and definitely in DS1. Gank Squad for DS2 because fuck those three forever. Crystal Mage for DS3. Micolash for Bloodborne…not majestic. Headless Ape duo for Sekiro and Sir Gideon, the know nothing for Elden Ring. Jori for the DLC. That dude sucks.
For me the most annoying from Bloodborne is Laurence with his crawling with lava which they thought was sooooooooo interesting that they brought it on Elden Ring with the Wyrms. I kinda like Rom's fight to be honest.
Well you were just completely ignoring the Maneater's telegraphs and just running into their face, swinging wildly while they were mid-attack. And I don't disagree that the boss is annoying; it is. I just think there are plenty of others in Demon's Souls who are more annoying, namely Armored Spider, Fool's Idol, Storm King, Dirty Colossus, etc.
I mean, I do view YT as a bunch of pearl-clutchers but saying it has "massive Christian tendencies" is a bit of a stretch. I'm not even a Christian btw nor am I a fan of them in particular.

BB: Hot take: Cleric Beast, for simply having an utterly obscene amount of health for the game’s first boss
ER: Godfrey/Hoarah Loux with their non-stop aoes, endless procession of grabs, and annoying combos
that elden ring take is absolutely wild, how do they have annoying combos????
Does does everyone ignore Seath, he has a two minuet runback, (worse that BoC), undodgeable screen-wide spike attacks, literally zero telegraphs if your close enough to hit him, and inflicts curse, not to mention the clams that like to invade and the runback being invisible platforms over lethal falls.
@@Iamverykarpy specifically Hoarah Loux’s insanely long flurry combo that rivals the Royal Revenant for number of strikes and distance traveled
I love your videos ❤
It's High Lord Wolnir's one-shot darkness barf attack and the horrible camera angles that annoy me
If I could delete 3 Souls bosses from the series, I'd delete Micolash 3 times.
Jori was fucking robbed
The Greatwood, really? Pop all the blisters in the first phase except for the ones on the crotch (as popping these triggers the phase transition), then pop like two more after the phase transition and then the regenerated crotch blisters again. Done. That fight's over in three minutes tops. If you want an annoying boss in DS3 you should have picked the Ancient Wyvern instead because the headstab can miss for whatever reason and then you have to run the entire snakemen gauntlet again.
Yeah I have no idea how From thought Jori was a good boss fight... It is only 'difficult' in the most obnoxious sense of the word.
I kinda like Rom's fight to be honest.
i whole heartedly agree with you with jori. on seperate playthroughs i just cheese him with mohg's spear
I hate ivory king 💩
Seath is 10 times worse than BoC, worse runback, moveset and most importantly, CURSE
bro jori is a pushover
I'm shocked curse rotted won on ng+5 I would say nameless king because the smoke on the ground or ocieros because fuck him
I think Jori is really overhated he's fairly easy all things considered. Gideon I think deserves this spot.
Gideon is really easy though, you can literally beat him down before he's finished yapping
@@DjDolHaus86 yes but I just did a Level 1 run and he rocked my shit so for me the most annoying is him
no way u said chalice's Rom is fun to fight 😅
I'm absolutely on your side as far as the Darklurker is concered. The hardest base game boss in my opinion.
159 views in 14 minutes. Bro fell off.
First one!!!
Um, actually you're second ☝🤓
Naw he’s first I think but shut up anyway
First commet
Well you were just completely ignoring the Maneater's telegraphs and just running into their face, swinging wildly while they were mid-attack. And I don't disagree that the boss is annoying; it is. I just think there are plenty of others in Demon's Souls who are more annoying, namely Armored Spider, Fool's Idol, Storm King, Dirty Colossus, etc.
I love that you don't give a shit about profanity in your videos despite UA-cam's massive christian tendencies.
I mean, I do view YT as a bunch of pearl-clutchers but saying it has "massive Christian tendencies" is a bit of a stretch. I'm not even a Christian btw nor am I a fan of them in particular.
Christian tendencies?! Lmao what. UA-cam isn’t religious at all, nor does it have “Christian tendencies.” Also you can cuss in Christianity 🤦🏻♂️
