Great video! Love those flower petals. I haven’t seen those before. I really enjoy making hexi flowers. I also sew away from me. Have a great day.

Another great tutorial. I sew like you…. away from myself. I am heavy handed and can’t use straw needles, they end up looking like 🍌before I end up snapping them. I use clover black gold appliqué needles size 10 or 11. The rule of thumb from people like Sue Daley is 14-16 stitches per inch. I am nearer to 18, but 28! 😂
What I love about EPP is there are so many ways to do it. I prefer small EPP shapes 3/8”, 1/2” and 3/4” are my preferred sizes but means that things like quilts take much, much longer to sew. I love sewing the curved petal flowers which my EPP group call Dilly Flowers. The biggest drawback of EPP is that it’s highly addictive and should come with a warning! 😂

Could we have an EPP beginner stitch along? That would be great 😊

I've been wanting to try EPP hexies. Thanks for the demonstration. (I also sew away from myself.)

I’m looking forward to see your progress in the snowflake ❄️ quilt made with EPP that you showed a few months ago. I love those little flowers and the projects you have made with them. Thank you for sharing. 🥰

Would you ever do the joining on a machine? I have been hand sewing my 1” hexies for months now!
