Thank you for showing this informative video. I would love to become a better hand stitcher. Your tutorials are easy to understand and entertaining, like a visit with a good friend. Hope that makes sense😂. Will be returning to this one for future reference. Great job.

Thank you Jeanette for this excellent tutorial. I especially liked how you used the square knot at the beginning of your whip stitch. I’ll have to try that. ❤❤❤

Thanks for this. I also find it very relaxing to stitch my paper pieces whilst watching tv. However, I now use a slightly different method - I do a couple of catch stitches in every corner of the hexagon without going through the paper. This holds it all together but stops you needing to pull out the tacking when you sew the hexis together.

I absolutely loved the yellow hexagon on the yellow string quilt. I've never seen anyone put those 2 elements together, but what a beautiful bag or pillow that would be. I have never been tempted to do EPP, but I'm definitely going to make this block and do it using the same colors (which I've also never been tempted to do). You have really inspired me today!

Thank you so much for this. I usually use the sewing machine to close my turn spots, but never liked how it looked. And I would try to watch other UA-cam videos about invisible stitches, but they weren’t as clear as this! My future projects thank you!

I've leant so much whilst watching your tutorials Jeanette. I'm a very grateful beginner. Do you have a pattern or tutorial for the thread catcher and pin cushion on the desk beside you?

I wonder why you do not use a quilters knot on the end. It's a lot easier. I liked that you sew through the paper. Does that dull your needle fast? Excellent tutorial.
