Some input about them: This choir is one of the world's most awarded, and I mean the world. The first choir in the world to win the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing "twice". They are one of the most feared competitors in choral singing, rumors have it that some groups even backed out when they learned that they were competing. They sing in a semi-circle formation because they don't need or use a conductor. and they get their queue using just eye coordination. This here is already the 2nd generation best known as "MADZ" and is currently and slowing moving now to the 3rd gen.

The Madz)!!!👏👏👏 I mentioned this choral group in a comment about 2 months ago but wasn’t able to submit a request form; thanks to whoever requested this. This group is the country’s premier choral group (the standard in my humble opinion), renowned globally especially in choral competitions and for their Madrigal style of singing; they’ve also performed in different countries at music festivals and in their own concerts. They always sing a cappella and they have many more videos (different genres of music) that you should check out. There are a lot of other outstanding choral groups who have represented the country in international competitions. Long before karaoke became a trend, there were already singing competitions - solo, duet, choir - in schools, local barangays/cities/regions, and nationwide. For Filipinos, three of the essential elements in our culture are faith, family and music.
Madrigal Singers always compete in Europe 🇪🇺 got always a First place in Competitions. They would pass by to Vienna Austria 🇦🇹 to sing in the Catholic Church Communities. Proud of our Filipino talented singers 😍❤️👏👏👏

You should check out some of their videos when they only sang inside a restaurant impromptu or when they had a gathering together. This video I believe is a performance during one of their competition abroad.
It is not a competition. Is an exhibition made at Colegio de Medicos of Madrid Spain. They were invited ti sing in Madrid by Coro de Voces Graves de Madrid, (another great Chorus and one of the most well known chorus in Spain), and so they share some concerts and even they sing together in Madrid several choral compositions
oh.. also encouraging seeing stage plays in the Philippines... there are often musicals playing in Meralco theater or theaters in Resorts world or in Makati... ❤️😁

I've always been astonished by every live performance of the Madz (Philippine Madrigal Singers)! I attended their concert and performance regularly (almost every year or more than once a year). I love them! Bianca is my ult bias among them (one of The Nightingales). They are the BEST choir in our country! It's enthralling to have watched your RV for Madz. Thanks for appreciating their unique talents. Some of the OG members of Madz performed with SB19 last year during BINURDA.

We are a Catholic country and many of us are educated in parochial schools run by priests and nuns. I know three versions of Our Father in English and three versions in Tagalog, that's how deep church songs are part and parcel of our education. The concept of choir singing is very familiar to us.
I was fortunate enough to watch them live here in CA in 2017 and they sang Circle of Life during that show. It was such an ethereal experience. It's truly unforgettable.
I'm glad I was able to watch and hear this song live by Madz. I can still remember that my mouth was just wide open the whole performance. Madz are incredible. ❤️
Please check out University of Mindanao's rendition of "Koyu No Te Bulul" and "Three Kalinga Chants", they're a Filipino choir as well and their versions of these regional folk songs are breathtaking. 😊
