Totally agree. Doing a neurographic drawing every day for two weeks has absolutely and totally changed my life and I’m now bubbling with new art and it’s all brave.

Hi Kelly, I'm 53 years old and have explored many different art avenues that I fully enjoy, including losing myself in acrylic paints, playing bass guitar and acoustic guitar and just being artsy fartsy.. Self taught always. But always welcome ideas. I would seriously love to delve into ceramics. Never had the opportunity yet since 8 th. grade. I do remember when I was a young girl I drew like you are showing here. I like rough edges with rounded corners and either full black and white or multiple shades of color. I loved watching your video.

Thank you, Kelly, for a very relaxing video. I've only just got to hear about neurographic art and aim to do one artwork per day. I'm going to start by using a book so that I can chart my progress. Looking forward to it.
By the way, I share your love of fine lines - the finer the better.
    Hope you are well. x

Hi Kelly 😊 I noticed that your video kept popping up on my analytics board as the video that was sending the most viewers to my channel. Until today, I didn’t know I could do this but I tried clicking on the title and it brought me here. (I’m still very new at this UA-cam thing obviously 😂.) Amyway, a couple things: first of all, this was such a fun video to watch! I loved it and I loved listening as you worked on your beautiful piece.🙏 Second, thank you for creating art that connects with people and helps them use creativity for relaxation and well being. And finally, thank you for creating art that also helps me grow my channel and my mission of helping others through creativity. ❤ FYI, I would have not known who Felicia was either 😂. And sometimes honestly, as they say, ignorance really is bliss. Thank you for being you 💕.

Gabrielle, that is awesome! I love that my video is helping your channel grow. We UA-cam artists should help each other! Thank you for stopping by to watch, and thank you for commenting. ❤️. I often comment on other people's videos but it seems like most other UA-camrs don't, like there's some unwritten rule. So thank you! I'll check out your channel, too.

Kelly, you shouldn't ever worry about the quality of your art or your sketchbooks. Your art is fantastic and beautiful and you are very talented. I wish I was as good of an artist as you are. I have been painting and drawing all of my life really, and I also want my sketchbooks to be "perfect". But I think that stands in the way of growth, for me at least. I'm not nearly the artist that I want to be, but does that really matter if I enjoy what I am doing? Probably not! So, draw on and I will enjoy watching your beautiful creations.

My sketch book has amazing ideas... and things that look like a 5 year drew with their eyes closed while in a centrifuge. In my mind that's a real sketch book, it's a practice book for ideas - perfect and beautiful shouldn't be the focus or a stressor. A lot of people fake that they have a flawless sketch book, just my opinion. Let your inner 5 year old out to play!

@@kellysartthrob you are right, very fine nibs are rare in the fountain pen world. I have spoiled myself to a Platinum 3776 with UEF nib, which is equivalent to a 0.1 Micron Pen. With some inks, it even looks finer than a 0.1 The pen is expensive, I had to save up and I don't think I will ever recover my cost.

I notice you just round the intersections and then proceed to decorating with little patterns ... . You're leaving the entire lines untouched. Why? I somehow doubt that you will feel any effect of stressrelief by doing it this way. >There are for example some quite good videos by Cheri Hunt on UA-cam, about Neurographic Art. Concerning stressrelief, one might want to think about, how important it is, to turn the little doodles into a "piece of art". Neurographic Art isn't about PRODUCING art. It's really about lowering anxiety, or stress, ... .

Kelly’s artwork is fresh and different. Doing things the “traditional” or “acceptable” ways may be satisfying for those trying to learn a technique, but Kelly has added her own stamp to this drawing. I’m sure she was totally engaged and relaxed while doing the drawing. I know I was watching her do it and I love her style!

This is an older video. I addressed this in another video and am noting that it's neurographic style at this point. However, if you want to play neurographica police on UA-cam, you're going to be busy. Why not spend that time making art? 😉 I bet it would be more fun.
