Hi Kelly, I have been watching your neurographic art style on youtube & I have to say I love them! I am an artist who has been struggling with my art after domestic violence. I have been getting back into art after 24 years of artists block. I am slowly realising that it all still exists in my brain but I feel a but like I am feeling like I have imposter syndrome. I have ptsd so that gets in my way alot of the time but recently I realised how much fun & peace I feel with just a nice pen & good paper. I have just finished watching one of your clips from 2 years ago & have watched some others you have done. I have to say 'you are such a talented woman' & I thank you for letting me come along for the ride. For some time now I have been searching for 'my thing'. I am going to really throw myself into this beautiful art form that you have great talent for. I am 60 years old & the only time I am truly at peace is when I am creating. My 7 year old granddaughter is staying over tomorrow night & she loves art. She is such a blessing when it comes to learning as she really listens. I am going to share with her some of your clipsb& then we are going to do our own. Your work is beautiful and I expect somewhere down the track that you will be remembered for your talent (& your wicked sense of humour). Again, thankyou for sharing. Linda from Australia. Mesmerizing to watch your piece come alive...I've never seen so many different shapes take form in one place; so many different marks and patterns. Wonderfully mysterious (how does one know to do this and then that?!), and completely inspiring. Like everyone here, your laughter is just the best medicine. Not sure that this is the right question, but wanting to understand what are some of the general steps in going from first time drawing zentangle-like patterns, to a brain and hand that flow into the patterns you created here. Ooh! Not only am I envious of your technique, but also of your lovely mandellas! (also that you do not need to go through reverse Imaging to set your pattern!) I’ve been using a light colored pencil so I can see where I missed something without lifting the paper, and the color doesn’t smear like graphite does! Thank you for anothre great lesson!❤❤
