I always anticipate a new Death Angel album this is absolutely killer.
These guys are tight. I saw them play in concert when they was in their early teens, and they have remained 1 of my top all time favs for decades.
Rob is a master player. He’s up there with the best players in heavy music period. His sense of melodic choice, execution and fierce vibrato keeps him from blending in with the hyper technical approach many newer players get stuck in.
I say his riff writing capabilities are up there or even better than Dave mustaine

Saw Death Angel last night. Killer show. Crowd went crazy start to finish. Went to ted aguilar’s guitar clinic too, really humble nice guy.
Ultra Violence is still in my top 5 of greatest thrash albums ever. Can not wait for the full album release.
I Remember buying their LP when it came out many many years ago now with the Testament Legacy album.

It’s odd that these guys have played in my country only three times during their career. I feel so priviledged to have witnessed them alive in 2020 (just like two weeks before covid closed all the doors). Hope to see them some day again!
Saw then in Manchester the other night, absolutely awesome!!!!!
OMG I had no idea they were still making music. I saw them in Oakland in the late 80s playing with Metallica and a couple other bands. Awesome
3:40 killer riff going on. very much instantly reminded me of Piggy from Voivod and his style of dissident chords. Rob has his own style for sure though and when he plays live its like watching the Bruce Lee of Thrash Metal. Mark's vocals are just as if not even more ravenous then when i first started following this band when i was 15 or so back in the 80's. got every album, bumped into Mark at NAMM and finally got that photo with him and to tell him just how much he has influenced me. we got to open for them twice but he didn't remember haha and i didn't care. opening for one of your all time favorite bands ever...priceless. i will never forget it.

I actually met these two at work today! They came in to check out Avenger's End Game up where I work. I felt so bad I never heard of them until today, but I wished them a great tour and to be safe....and to enjoy their movie. Wish I could've gotten an autograph had I known better...oh well.

joe bo yeah I have, Hexed is really good as is Flotsam and Jetsam and Overkill and my current favourite Avantasia Moonglow. But just based on the strength of this single Humanicide I’m expecting a great album and hopefully I don’t get disappointed.
It will probably get my vote for album of the year. This album is fuckin awesome! I just love it. I don't believe I've heard a greater thrash metal album this year then this one. \m/

I heard about these guys long time ago in exodus, anthrax, and testament era, but didn't follow them at that time. Now, I feel happy that they still bring the metal styIe I used to know (late 80s/early 90s)

Death Angel was one of those bands that produced an awesome album EARLY Late and NOW. The RIFFING on their albums are just unmatched. Its like they got stuck in the peak years of Thrash n Speed Metal and just refined it over the years... btw ULTRA VIOLENCE album has got to be among the top Trash Metal Album of all time!!
