Well I was definitely supposed to make a weird cover by now, so here's my first EDM-Metal combination for Biolizard from Sonic Adventure 2, one of my favorite games and soundtracks of all time. When GameLarks decided that a Sonic the Hedgehog album would be most fun, legally sound for licensing, I took to covering this song almost immediately. I've always had a fascination with this song, considering this level was ridiculously hard for me with the stupid bouncing bubbles. I think Shadow has a pretty exciting character, brooding and mysterious, and this mix of guitar and atmosphere and intense dance made me think.. what if I tried my hand at a cool house mix with guitars to supplement the song. Despite being a bit rushed with other projects, and I'm still very unhappy with my vocals in this one (despite them being digitized to hell, I planned to redo them), but I'm proud to say I tackled my first "EDM" song!
I hope you guys enjoy SUPERSONIC, it's been received wonderfully across the VGM and internet scene. There's some fantastic talent there, great work across the board, and some fine mastering from Ace Waters himself so you can jam out in your car and go fast!

Used to play Sonic Adventure 2 as a kid. Original track's one of the best of game. This metal cover made it more awesome than original verse was xd.

Things like this really make me wish I could be as talented as you. All the guitars kick major ass, and this boss just has so much lore to it that the remix just gives off. The mystery, the violence, the insanity, and the spirit of Gerald Robotnik lives on within this creature.

This is by far my favorite song from SA2, and now probably my favorite cover of yours. You captured the feeling of the song so goddamn well, the mix of bass-ey beats and guitar are outstanding. That solo was perfection. I love the voice work as well! Great work, Swiggs! :D

Oh, I was so hoping someone would do a Biolizard cover at some point!! It's one of my favourites from SA2 just partly because of how minimalistic it is. This sounds freaking amazing man, good job. I loved your fusion of EDM and Djent-ish genres.

this is perfect. the guitar is what made the song for me and this is just glorius. The heavy beats reminds me of how disturbing it was to fight the prototype and what the biolizard consistend of plus all of the orange liquid. The vocals and atmospheric sense of the theme gives me a feel of shadow's emotions throughout it all.

This was a while ago but I actually junked the V49 fast - horrible velocity control on mine though I liked the form factor and feel! Went with a proper digi piano and a tiny 25 APK Mini myself!
@@RoPanuganti yeah... The velocity control really does suck. I read reviews that said so but I tried it anyways. I should really invest in something better but I have limited space in my home "studio" aka my office haha 😂
