Thank you so much for the info on the v carving bit,I thought maybe it was my touch probe which is not from carbide.I placed the probe on top the material as you recommended probed the z axis and it now works absolutely perfect.
Thanks for a well done video. I think you answered my question but I will ask just to be sure. Once you start the probe procedure, you are finished setting zeros? In other words, you do not need to go to the set zero screen as they have already been set? I thought after it probed I needed to set that as my "zeros" and that explains why my cutter was always too high above my work when I started a job. Thanks again.
@@stevescustomcarving1175 What I didn't realize was the once you probe, the zero or zeros are automatically set. You do not want to go in and set zeros as they will be wrong because the cutter has retracted. This should probably be common sense but I was struggling with it.

Once I use the probe and set the zeros, I don't change anything. Is that what you meant? FYI.

Hi Steve, what model tablet do you use to control your machine? I currently use a laptop but looking to switch to a tablet. Thanks
Good video But it needs to be up dated using the newest version of Carbide Motion .536 as the screen are totaly different.

Hi Andrew. I use a Fusion 5. It isn't anything special. I am sure there are a lot of tablets that should work.
@@stevescustomcarving1175 Cool, thanks!
