Every Thursday, on the first floor of the Crocker Galleria in downtown San Francisco, there is an outstanding farmers market. Yes, that's right. A farmers market right in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Since the summer of 2005, thousands of fresh food advocates have discovered the joys of organic strawberries, vine-ripened tomatoes and even an occasional plump persimmon between Sutter and Post near Market Street in downtown San Francisco.
