Leah Martinez I know girl I’m from here, I’m in Orange County and have a friend going to Berkeley so I’m up there often. Because houses are 80 million doesn’t negate the fact that 40.5 million is a disgusting price tag for ..... this. The fact that 80 million is a price tag for a home is also disturbing. San Francisco has long had such an issue with housing. “The sunny weather, wow it’s so nice out, ooo CaLiFoRnIa” should only go so far. So sad the locals hardly can afford to live there. San Francisco is broken and this house is a joke. I know you’re not in opposition to me I’m just sad to see that money can be just thrown away to live in this “house”.

What's more impressive is this whole property is on a 45 degree slope, literally the steepest hill you can imagine, just like most streets in San Fran but idk they manage to make everything seem structurally balanced.

This is maximum a 2 million dollar house.
I'm a contractor and can build it with 1 million and another million would be the profit.
it's the location and has absolutely nothing to do with the house. This house deserves to be built on 3 acre lot and in nice wooded place.

@@777VOID-1 exactly. They used 6 standard lots in a city that has crazy real estate prices. I remember, a few decades ago, seeing Robin Leach in his Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous show. He was in the middle of Tokyo and showing a driveway, that some rich guy had just bought the underlying land for, to provide parking for his Rolls-Royce. He mentioned that if you carpeted the driveway with $1000.00 bills it would begin to approximate the cost of the land it was built on.

@@777VOID-1 I think you are a bit off.. with that gallery and underground garage as well as the Spa it is going to be a 3-4M house pretty much anywhere. Plus the big entertainment space. That is a three level, WITH elevator, 5BR and then a second cottage that they didn't mention how many BR. They didn't show us the whole whole house, either. Kitchen, the other BRs, ect...
Even a more basic 5BR house in anyplace you actually want to live is going to put you over 1M, and that isn't basic.
But the thing is that ANYONE that has 40M to buy it is going to want to spend a bunch of money to re-do things anyway.
