Because y’all aren’t using your brains- this is just like regular love island yet different. When people go on the regular love island version and their relationship isn’t genuine, they fall to the bottom and is potentially at risk of getting voted out by fans voting and islanders. It’s different for the games because fans aren’t voting, it’s all due to if you come in last during the games or not.
YES you’re playing to win the 100k at the end but in some fashion you still want to be genuine with your connections and not just playing to win money. Which is why they still had the love island concept just with a twist of adding different countries.
WE don’t know what goes on behind the scenes and what they cut out. And it’s apparent they cut out a bunch of stuff to fit their own narrative and bring in drama as all of the islanders have said it. There was a bunch of stuff happening that didn’t get shown and the stuff that was shown seems out of context because of what wasn’t shown. He wasn’t the only one who said Cely was a game player, and he wasn’t the only one who who called someone out for their gameplay…
@@randomaccounthehe1654it makes perfect sense because it’s still LOVE ISLAND the only thing different is they incorporated games and made it to where islanders are the sole voters for getting someone out and not fans. The powerful couples who were genuine and good at winning got kicked out (excluding Justine and Jack). It didn’t matter if you were playing the game - example: Johnny, because you weren’t going to win the game. They were looking for genuine connections on top of being good at games and making strategic moves. A lot of moves weren’t strategic, they were done out of emotions.
And I agree, some people are game players and Johnny is the biggest one there.

Toby, Toby, Toby...😌 Watching the games (and both of your youtube post-show) it was very clear that the biggest issue between you and Cely is misunderstanding, miscommunication and just misalignment :( It's frustrating and sad but also..it is what it is? We've all been there unfortunately. What didn't sit right with me, personally, was how you came for Cely during the jury vote, and I'm glad you're able to recognise how out of pocket it was and that she was not "faking it" (look, I don't even know you but your elimination was one of the hardest thing i've ever seen on reality tv!! It even got me emotional, let alone someone like Cely loll)
Hope you continue to learn and grow, really appreciated this (it was frankly a breath of fresh air, esp comparing to other cast members who're acting real odd atm on SM.... ) 🤙

@LoveYanna21 I hear you. I think Toby was allowed to feel what he felt but I believe what he said wasn't fair. Because Cely was not a game player, she wasn't faking anything or being an "actor". Toby already said that he should have dealt with it privately and I agree with him because to publicly humiliate someone like that is not okay. To cuss them out is not okay. (E.g. Jess being hurt by her situation with Johnny was fine but cussing him out was not okay in my opinion). And just for Toby to look back and realise that what he said wasn't even true (it was just miscommunication from both of their parts) makes it even worse. We - both men and women - should be allowed to feel hurt by things if they hurt us but we shouldn't let our emotions cloud our judgement and ability to handle things rationally and maturely. I wish Toby and Cely could have worked out though, they would have made such a lovely couple.

Hard facts! Not once did any of them speak bad about Toby. Cely hasn't spoken one bad word about none of the Islanders either. She is such a genuine person with a heart of gold. It was so unfair for her to get spoken to like that. Mike, Imani, Ray, Lisa, Duck face Georgia, Toby and even Lib and Jess were laughing when Toby was bringing Cely down. So called friends right? Karma comes back when least expected.
Toby I like how genuine you are. I liked you on your season especially towards the end, and I could see that you have grown and now you know much better what you want on games. You are still quite emotional though, and I actually like that about you, because you can truly immense in the moment and get the most out of it. However, as a psychologist, I do think you could benefit from learning to verbalize and communicate your emotions better. It will be beneficial for you and your intimate relationship. I can see that when you feel bothered, lost, rejected, or betrayed, you start to get angry, withdraw, and start to draw quite radical conclusions. And as a result, when you communicate with the person, you make serious allegations that reflect your true feelings at the moment but could severely hurt that person. Granted, I'm only seeing a reality show, I don't know you or how you're in your daily life, but that's just a pattern I observe, and I was hoping that it could bring you some insight. I just feel like I have dealt with clients and partners that are similar to you, and it's a shame that they could not be their best self in life and relationships because they can be run by their emotions from time to time. There are many more emotions that anger and frustration that occur inside of you without you noticing, and once you can pinpoint those, you'll have a better understanding of what exactly is causing you to feel this way. Verbalizing is extremely helpful for dealing with emotions, and people can make great improvement on this aspect with the right help and their own self-reflection and commitment to self-growth. Sorry for this somewhat intruding message. It's just like you seem like such a sweet person, and I do not want to see you missing out on people who genuinely care about you (tbf, girls like Chloe and Cely have their issues too, and they'd benefit from similar reflection, but that's story for another day). Good luck!
At the end of the day it all seems to have boiled down to a lack of communication, genuine expression and pursuit. Additionally, although you were there for love, there was still the game aspect, which obviously didn't help you with your goal. My main question is, would you be able to confirm if you saw the same edit that the we the viewers saw or was their an unedited version you all got to see?

Justine and Jack won because no one ever went against them in the games. This makes it easier on any player. If you look back at the games, you'll see people ganging on other couples. Justine and Jack never had multiple people ganging up on them, hence making it an easier game for them to play and eventually win.
It's good that you know that was so wrong you should learn from they didn't say anything bad after it too they have kind souls and know how to handle this kind of behavior it's class act of them cely and eyal give a us summer of love and we loved to see it ❤️

Cely was actually 100% responsible for the whole thing. All she had to do is tell Toby how she was interested in Eyal. She never said that she just went on a kissing spree with Eyal and also Ray.
