Dami was hands down my favorite- Not sure why he doesn't get more acknowledgment. He's insightful, smart, funny, honest, down to earth, real, quirky in a way that doesn't hit you at first glance but instead surprises you, charismatic, and probably one of the most insanely stunning and perfect looking humans I've ever seen.

@@gossipqueen1013 Dami and indiyah both had a conversation about their possibility of possibly exploring connections with other people at casa, that chat was deliberately never shown, so the whole context of dami's actions was completely skewed and unfairly taken out of context to make him look bad, that was a deliberate and blatant choice by the LI producers to paint a black guy in a bad light.

I'm I the only one that has noticed that it's only Dami and Indiyah as a couple who are yet to make TV appearances for an interview despite making third place they just get setup for podcasts.I'll be surprised if they even get a magazine spread . Sometimes I think that the 3rd spot was so that LI doesn't get backlash.UK is deep in the pits and everyone just moves like it's normal.

what he said we already knew, we saw him egging on the boys. But everybody else has said hes very genuine and actually a nice guy. Not defending what he did, but to be honest when your in a villa for that long with no family contact, seeing the same people everyday 24/7, not going out of the villa your head will probably do stupid shit and say some weird stuff.

Am I just now learning that there was a prelude to the famous "heartbreaker" scene between Damiyah after Casa Amor, and the producers totally fumbled the ball by not showing it? 11:19 into the interview.
Unpopular opinion on here and twitter but people are so mad that Gemma didn’t dump Luca straight after the show like they’d been saying all series. The narrative was that it was one sided and she wasn’t into him that much
Now after the show we can clearly see that isn’t true. And an edited show pushes certain narratives that aren’t always true. Toby of all people should know that. She seems 100% happier out of the villa and ironically with Luca. People can claim anything they want but with all the bad attention he’s gotten, even after the Remi situation, she’s still happily with him. That backlash was bad for her brand but she didn’t care one bit. Because she is actually into him

So 15 mins in and I just have to comment because they’re talking about #blacklove. Dami is right, love is love and I don’t think it should be tied to a race. But the reason why black love is a thing is because we’ve seen black women, on these shows, portrayed as the least desirable. The white men they pick for these shows typically have no interest in black women. And the black men prefer white women to black women.
Even on this season of Love Island, it was disturbing to see that none of the white men were into Indiyah despite how stunningly beautiful she is. Except for Deji and Dami, Indiyah didn’t really have a pick of the litter like the other non-black women did.
So to see that Dami, a black man, a dark skin black man at that chose her above all others was a beautiful thing to watch.
So I’m all for love is love but it will never be love is love until they even the playing field for black women. Especially on these dating shows.

Let me get this straight…Dami and Jacques trying to pressure Luca in to cheating on Gemma in Casa, something he clearly didn’t want to do…was okay. But Luca going along with the lads and egging on behaviour they were ALREADY doing is bad. The math isn’t mathing. Let’s just call it what it was…Dami projecting his guilt and realizing that Luca staying loyal was going to make him look bad.
Also, Toby what is your obsession with wanting to prove Gemma doesn’t like Luca? During the show, fair enough…the edit certainly did try to paint that picture. People also need to realize Gemma and luca are not together yet, so I guess people are going to have their opinions on if they will get together or not. When they get together, I personally think they will last a very long time or forever. Loved this interview, and with the dami and luca thing they both are very close, they always stick up for each other and seem to have a good friendship and care for each other a lot.

You have to pay attention to the details of the relationship, and she is just a closed off person in the show, her dad was watching and she probably knew he would be brought up so she did watch herself, but outside the Villia and even inside she has something great with Luca. Idk how everyone is saying she is not into him, I think honestly a lot of you saying that are hateful and are just hanging on too that little talk dami and Gemma had like over a month ago and still running with it. They are together they love each other and you can see the feelings growing but they are not officially bf and gf like the other islanders, all the other 5 couples are together together except them. So people are trying their hardest to make gem look like she is still not into luca and they are wrong. They wanted to meet the parents and stuff, also I kinda feel like gem and luca haven’t done anything sexual like the other couples and when you do something like that your connection gets deeper, so people may not be able to open their eyes and notice gem and luca have a special connection but once they get together and sleep together everyone will see how much of a connection they have.
