The Golden Seals only folded after they moved to Cleveland, and even then, it was technically a merger between the Cleveland Barons and the Minnesota North Stars that ended up having the North Stars being the surviving franchise. (This merger was also effectively undone in the late 1980s in order to add the San Jose Sharks to the NHL in the 1991-92 season.)

So no mention of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love getting injured during that first finals against Cleveland? But you did mention Draymond's suspension in the next finals. 🤔
The A’s still need a place to play until they get the new ballpark built or at worst, move. The old Bill Graham had their “ Day on green” concerts there to.
Basically with the Colosseum and arena were built they did not anticipate the political issues in the coming decades that would backfire on everyone Oakland leaving for Los Angeles in the coming back was not something that anyone foresaw and when they did come back they demanded upgrades of which they did not pay for And ultimately no one expected each team that had a multipurpose stadium to decide we want a stand-alone facility we're sick and tired of sharing They don't get that sports is a billion dollar industry now and everyone wants their own deal and what's the raiders left it was going to happen that both baseball and every other sport that used to facilities would eventually leave the plan now is what to do with property no one no matter what you do other than maybe a hockey team would ever want to be involved with anything to do with Oakland or California because of the political climate The property is currently under the authority of the Alameda county board of supervisors and they can't agree on anything the arena had stopped being used or booked for anything once the new arena for Golden State warriors was completed in San Francisco but my understanding is that come next year they have managed to get a few things to come back is that really going to make any difference no The A's refused to continue to pay rent and if the facility that is 50 plus years old that is falling apart that no sports team wants anything to do with so they have been putting together a plan that no one likes to utilize part of the Port of Oakland to build a new ballpark and once that is completed the property the contains the former coliseum and arena is just going to sit there because they have no future plans for that property because nothing can be agreed upon even though there have been several proposals put forward county of Alameda supervisors refuse to concede any development because they demand that we bring sports back to Oakland and it's just not going to happen
Not entirely true. The roof and exterior walls are the same as KeyArena. They couldn’t demolish the roof and exterior walls as they are deemed an historic landmark for being built originally for the World’s fair in the 60’s. With the at being said though, you’re right. Everything else is brand new

I ain't know Rick Barry played fa Oakland damn Krazy n balled wit Warriors
This was well done. You've earned this new subscriber
The warriors finally brought the Larry O’Brein Trophy to San Francisco with a hole record 11 playoff game wins and 1 playoff game loss. And it was the first time since 2018 that the warriors won the finals
hey labreece, i had a stadium for modern ruins. do you think sam boyd stadium would count?
Honestly going to miss both the Oracle & the Coliseum stadiums should either become no more. Saw my share of Athletics Baseball & Golden State Warrior Basketball games. Never had an issue even getting to it. Right off of 880 should I decide to drive I never did. Took the bus from Vallejo & transferred onto a BART train. Got a bit tricky with night concerts though too never had an issue. Attended only one event @ Chase Center & I must agree. It's a nice arena though more difficult to get to & yes find parking. Also you never mentioned the Roller Derby Bay Bombers one time too called it home. Had a loyal following from Oakland & the East Bay as well.
Is there a vid on Candlestick Park/Candlestick Point, former home of THE San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants?
oracle arens is used for concerts and other big events if you guys didnt know
You go to a game at the coliseum or oracle and you get a free souvenir broken car window
Feel like I've seen this one before...
Hey can please what happen to st.louis arena
Gruber/Lacob bought GSW for $450M in 2010, GSW is now $7B...
At least they stayed in California
This video lost all credibility when you brought up the 2015 finals and never mentioned a single time how Kevin Love and Kyrie were both injured, yet referred to the Cavs as a super team….
facts
Wow, the warriors moved stadiums and left oracle arena abandoned, the raiders moved to Vegas, and the A’s are looking to move soon (maybe Vegas). I assume the land with the stadiums could be all demolished and the land be sold to anyone who wants to buy it.
There trying to dry out the whole peninsula n turn it into tech real estate country
I agree man Warriors moving to San Francisco and Raiders moving to Las Vegas made no sense because the fan bases is in Oakland if they were going to relocate it should’ve been in San Jose only if they couldn’t get anything in Oakland.
@@Itshadow306 warriors have always had a fan base in SF, but the raiders moving to LV made no sense since Nevada doesn’t care about the Raiders
@@YoungChuy2398 Nevada doesn't care about the raiders but their stadium is still completely full every sunday. That's all that matters to billionaire owners.
I dead-ass forgot about that arena not gonna lie I like the design of it even tho I never went.
Ngl you could've dove into the lore of the "We Believe" Warriors era, one of the 2 instances they went into the playoffs. Oracle was fucking packed
Technically Okc was the first team to blow a 3-1 lead. They blew the lead to the warriors in the WCF in 2016. Then the warriors went on to blow the same lead in the finals
So no mention of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love getting injured during that first finals against Cleveland? But you did mention Draymond's suspension in the next finals. 🤔
The city of Oakland is making more money with the arena now than ever before
"what happened to oracle arena?"
- proceeds to explain the Warriors history
This needs to be saved.
Loved watching the Sharks in the Cow Palace.
The loudest arena in basketball as voted by coaches and players.
I was just here on Sunday for a kid cudi concert lmao
I would be awesome to get an episode on the Igloo
I Feel Bad for Oakland Losing the Warriors, Raiders and the A's to Las Vegas, Too.
wait private interest improving then handing over the asset?
23:39 Andrew Bogut wasn’t a free agent. The Warriors traded Montae Ellis to the Milwaukee bucks for Andrew Bogut.
Isn’t this the place where the warriors blew a 3-1 lead?
The A’s still need a place to play until they get the new ballpark built or at worst, move.
The old Bill Graham had their “ Day on green” concerts there to.
1975 NBA finals they didn't play at Oakland arena because of scheduling they played a cow palace
You could have skipped the play by play commentaries
You have to understand. 18 months for this arena is just mind blowing
🎶"oracle arena may be known for basketball" 🎵 1:35
While the Warriors haven’t become California’s team, we HAVE been California’s team since 2010 tho.
The Lakers will always be more popular
The question is answered at 32:20
Basically with the Colosseum and arena were built they did not anticipate the political issues in the coming decades that would backfire on everyone
Oakland leaving for Los Angeles in the coming back was not something that anyone foresaw and when they did come back they demanded upgrades of which they did not pay for
And ultimately no one expected each team that had a multipurpose stadium to decide we want a stand-alone facility we're sick and tired of sharing
They don't get that sports is a billion dollar industry now and everyone wants their own deal and what's the raiders left it was going to happen that both baseball and every other sport that used to facilities would eventually leave the plan now is what to do with property no one no matter what you do other than maybe a hockey team would ever want to be involved with anything to do with Oakland or California because of the political climate
The property is currently under the authority of the Alameda county board of supervisors and they can't agree on anything the arena had stopped being used or booked for anything once the new arena for Golden State warriors was completed in San Francisco but my understanding is that come next year they have managed to get a few things to come back is that really going to make any difference no
The A's refused to continue to pay rent and if the facility that is 50 plus years old that is falling apart that no sports team wants anything to do with so they have been putting together a plan that no one likes to utilize part of the Port of Oakland to build a new ballpark and once that is completed the property the contains the former coliseum and arena is just going to sit there because they have no future plans for that property because nothing can be agreed upon even though there have been several proposals put forward county of Alameda supervisors refuse to concede any development because they demand that we bring sports back to Oakland and it's just not going to happen
Climate Pledge Arena is not a renovation of Key Arena. It is a completely different structure
Not entirely true. The roof and exterior walls are the same as KeyArena. They couldn’t demolish the roof and exterior walls as they are deemed an historic landmark for being built originally for the World’s fair in the 60’s. With the at being said though, you’re right. Everything else is brand new
maybe it better that warriors sometimes play here 10 games they play in oakland 50 years in frisco from 64 71
I drive past it to go to San Francisco, it just kinda sits there lol
They werent named "Golden State" because of your reason.. It was a branding ploy by Franklin Mieuli as he threatened to move them to LA
I recommend you do the Pontiac Silverdome
Astrodome
Shea Stadium
Metrodome in Minnesota
LA Forum
Louisville Freedom Hall
