Priya Purushothaman & Aishwarya Vidhya Raghunath: Raga Medley

In this video Aishwarya and Priya take us through the subtle similarities and differences in the Raags/Ragams in Hindustani and Carnatic classical music. The Raags/Ragams featured are Shubapantuvarali/Todi; Dwijavanti/Jaijaivanti; Lalita/Lalit; Kalyani/Yaman and Nalinakanti/Tilak Kamod. Violin accompaniment was provided by Vittal Rangan. Tambura/tanpura support was provided by Shiv Prasad and Nishtha Naimpally.

Omg wonderful performance the transitions between ragas are very smooth I love when they sing raag lalit with a tampura tuned to Pancham that sound hits different & all the ragas are performed very beautiful. wish it'll be more beautiful if the Sarangi can help in the accompaniment.
