Reminded of MS Amma's recital...Class monumental composition; .... This is in Vegavahini ( Chakravakam named by Dikshitar) which is well known to instigate feelings of devotion, sympathy and compassion! lass synchronised rendition....Best wishes to Sriranjani Santhanagopalan and Aishwarya Vidya Raghunath!.Best wishes!
A rare gem now becomes a gem treasured by us with both of you beautifully singing in unison, highlighting the intricacies with such ease. 🙏🙏 Love the immaculateTanpurs!
Excellent rendering. Learning and presenting another pataandharam is a great thinking . I appreciate how SriRanjani let Aishwarya lead and enjoy the singing and rendering it flawlessly.
There's so much divinity in the whole composition and congratulations to you both for bringing out the raga bhavam in your soulful rendition. Well done.
It is always a pleasure to listen to Dikshitar's compositions which are in tough but rhythmical Sanskrit apt for each God / Goddess. This is indeed a rare one and sung very well in unison. Congratulations to both for studying and singing by memorising.
After several years , both have created this best of bests in vilamba Kalam , a tough composition , with text weight The sadhana in Shruthi Kacheri is great Pranamums 🙏🙏 to both of you. & Shantha Gopalan for up loading
Indeed. These gems of Dikshithar are unheard these days. The rAga's true colour is experienced when sung in vilamba kaala and both of you have done justice to this piece. Thanks for sharing this with us. Amazing. 😃😃😃 Edit: And yes. The Tanpuras look beautiful. 😇
It was simply out of the world - not just the raga or composition but the way the two of u sang in perfect unison. I have heard this krithi feelingly rendered by my cousin, Vidwan T. V. Ramprasadh, and have longed to hear it again and again. And, here you are. The visuals and the beautiful tamburas created a feeling of being one with divinity. May the Almighty's grace be ever upon you two ....
Well rendered. Yes, Aiswarya Vidya Ragunath is a seasoned artist with marked consistency in her performances. This Raagaa Vegavaahini sounds like Chakravaaham / Saurashtram in most phases to a layman like me.
@@vasudevancv8470 Opinions differ! So I agree to disagree with you. :) Also I know by how much a simple electronic thampoora and an electronic thabla can enhance a song. I have blogged 50 out of the 200+ compositions of my paternal grandfather with the help of my siblings. You may take a look and decide for yourself whether or not the percussion instrument has enhanced the songs. All these songs were recorded by my sisters in their home located in a busy street in Chennai. Welcome to the world of simple but soul stirring compositions of Sree. @@visalakshik.raman.6278 Madam, Sorry, you have mistaken. What I simply meant was, a rendition with Percussion Score is common and a normal routine that we hear in every concert Whereas, a vocal rendition without any percussion score is a rare one, very special and makes the ambience so beautiful and we could enjoy the singer's rendition so pointedly. Tks for yr detailed response.
@@vasudevancv8470 I understand your point sir. But we sing at home everyday without the percussion instruments anyway. I wanted to make this rendition appear more special for two reasons... The special occasion and the special guest singer. :)
Enjoying the krithi Goddess sharadambas blessing to u both always Good luck to u both superb

A percussion instrument would make this a real ( Virtual! ) concert! Think about it! :)
No, No, Absence of percussion support only makes this kind of rendition all the more special.
