Shekhar sir what about large section of people of lower income groups of tax payers which you talk about often.
They may want to contribute to independent journalism like print too.
I certainly want to but rs500 for a month subscription is a bit higher for me.
Look into the matter they may pay voluntarily.
I really liked today's CTC. SG is like having an uncle who has stories to tell about everything. Delightful and informative!
@Ks Ks lol bro
All my 3 uncles fought in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 war of 1971

@@debetrolence1991 it's the Special Frontier Force.
"Indian Army will always give you food." I can personally attest to it. I was shooting a small movie for Raid The Himalaya moto rally back in 2017. And one day I was in Rangdum. I and my team were dropped near a small army post near Rangdum Gonpa at around 4 am. Pitch Dark. Temp - 4 degrees. In one hour some soldiers came out of their camps and met us and offered us to come inside. We went Inside and saw that in the sentry post two soldiers were warming their hands on a small gas/electric (can't remember) stove and they immediately stood up and offered us to warm our hands. And as the sun came up they cooked delicious pooris and we ate them with Jam. Sadly we had to leave but they insisted that we stay till lunch. Such a memorable day! ❤️
Hard to accept anyone else doing CTC. Your one liners and easy references using movies makes a fun listen.

I am from Odisha and I didn't know about this story of Biju Patnaik. Thanks Shekhar Ji will wait eagerly for the full story on Operation Himalayas.
Mu b jani nathili bhai.. biju babu was a super human
Biju Patnaik is a very close friend of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and this tie was formed through the close relation between late Biju Patnaik and His Holiness

I really love when SG tells story from his personal experiences. I suggest him to start a new initiative where he tells his own experiences. It would be very interesting to watch them and would also give us bts of journalist life.
Compare this content with so called mainstream media on the same subject ;)
U fuddu he looted Indian Express & India he has become so poor he begging now
Yeah same here! Love his stories, they bring a new perspective to the subject matter.
Gupta sahab is surely the best journalist in the entire indian subcontinent, not only India. And that includes your not so friendly neighbour country. The other good journalists are Karan Thapar, Ayaz Amir, Nadeem F Paracha and Pranav Rao (NDTV), apologies if I misspelled anybody's name.
Gyadu Wangdu, the commander of one of the companies operating in Chitagong, was died of machine fire after he tried to lead his men to break a stalemate around a hill occupied by a group of Mizo rebels. This account was verified in a book(In Tibetan Language) written by a Tibetan Bangladesh veteran named Jampa Kalden who was a political leader of the company.
As an Odia myself, the fact that even Odias aren't aware of the depths of the personality of Biju Pattnaik is a tragedy.
I agree. Unfortunately, Odisha as a state and its leaders rarely make it to news at the national level.
We still have so much to know about our nation and its thrilling secrets . Makes me a bit proud . Thanks for this CTC

Tibet is more Indian than Chinese.

An independent Tibet is required as a strategic buffer between India and Mainland ( Han ) China.
Nehru ignored Sardar Patel's advice and capitulated to China 's moves to end Indian political influence in Tibet.
My grandfather was involved in training the Tibetan special forces when they were first formed... I only learnt of this when we visited Clement Town in 2010...
Of all my grandfathers war narratives from WW2 to 1971, I have to say that the involvement of the Tibetan unit is amongst the most fascinating.
Thank you all men from my family joined sff Tibetan commander
So many interesting events of contemporary India, still all we get served is useless bollywood masala
I wonder when will the details of recent events be released (starting from Uri, to Doklam to Balakot to Ladakh). Even Kargil war stories are not fully out yet. We are learning new things about the 1971 war every now and then.
Anything relevant or strategic cannot be revealed for starters. Secondly why dont you take the initiative in looking for these stories and putting together a student team who will work for free for the experience and come out with a documentary? Easier to criticize the industry, government, parents....god etc. Be proactive 🤨
@@aadi2456 they are covert. Especially the Special Group, most of their ops are of such nature that the government will get in trouble if they reveal them.

Tibetans have lived in India for decades as refugees. And yet this microscopic community has contributed immensely in the interest of India and nation-building. Unfortunately, the infamous Citizenship Amendment Act does not mention a single word for the Tibetans living in India. Tibetan refugees sacrificing their lives for the honour of India have been denied citizenship rights and wider recognition, while waves of land-hungry illegal immigrants are welcomed with open arms. India's foreign and homeland policies are hopeless.
#freeTibet
@Mystique Seeker No it is not. For a Tibetan born in India, one of the parents has to be an Indian citizen to be called an Indian. They have been living in exile because Tibet is under "occupation" by China.
@@TheArypoo CAA does not apply because nothing is mentioned in CAA about the Tibetans. When the Hindus from East Pakistan arrived in India during 1972, they were termed as refugees. Some of them got citizenship by naturalization and the others who entered before 31st Dec 2014 will get it now under CAA. Tibetans are also victims of religious persecution by China. But CAA did not even mention a single word for them yet they fight for India's glory and honour. India's foreign and domestic policies are hopeless. BTW, the Tibetan govt in exile is not a recognized establishment. The govt of India should give them citizenship so that they can live a dignified life like the rest of us.
@@TheArypoo I don't think so that is the case with others coming to India and seeking citizenship. There is more to it than what meets the eye.
It's true. I am a first-generation Tibetan born in India but my status in India was "STATELESS." So in 2009, I moved to the US and I finally have an identity as an individual. I still love India and feels that India is my 2nd home. And this feeling is not just an exception with me, it is the feeling of all Tibetans in the diaspora. We Tibetan respect and always grateful to the people and the government of India for giving shelter to HHDL and Tibetans. As an honored guest of India, we Tibetans can't ask more from Bharat Mata but when needed, we won't hesitate to die for this great nation (India). Almost all Tibetans living in India have some connection with the SFF either a brother or father or sister or mother or uncle has served or still serving in SFF. I am happy that finally, SFF is getting its deserved recognition. I hope the GOI will change its position to recognize the great jawans of SFF. Jai Bharat! Jai Tibet! Jai Jawan! Vande Mataram! Bod Gyalo (Victory to Tibet in Tibetan)!!!!
If we give them citizenship then what will happen about Tibet movement....

We want Snehesh in CutTheClutter. Also, DK and Neelam Pandey are quite competent. Don't bring Ruhi Tewari - She interrupts others and is the female version of Rajdeep (although gets insulted less often).

My grandfather was in Airborne, 2 Para (Maratha) and were the first one in the Tangail Airdrop.
His close friend was also part of Jadotville Rescue team as part of UN. They were tasked to save the 35th Batallion, Irish Army .
I am very glad people are finally taking interest in the various ops carried out by our armed forces and giving the much needed recognition to exemplary military leaders.
I love India. It is my hometown. I came to India when I was 6 months. But I could not become Indian due to law of the land. I am Canadian, now. My complain is that India should offer unconditional citizenship to Tibetans who were there in India since 1959 due to the fact that SSF fought for India without asking if they were Indians or one of their parents were Indian or when they arrived in India etc. SSF fought Bangladesh war(1971: 56 deaths), Kargil war( 1999; X death) and now Ladak(2020; 1 death). Given our small population(95K India; 13K Nepal;1K Bhutan) compared to Indian(1.2 billion) even 20 death is very high. All the Tibetan living in India should be given citizenship and allow them to buy land so that their kids can fight for India. Elevation is not a joke. Tibetan blood has a special gene to fight and survive at altitude. Read more Here: www.sciencemag.org/news/2014/07/tibetans-inherited-high-altitude-gene-ancient-human

Exact same political problem in India. Jaylalitha didn't state her successor as she wanted to hold on to power even until her death bed. Guptaji made a vid on that topic.
It's good that he is doing this, he is also old and he would not be able to carry on much longer, he would too retire. Having a successor to carry on his spirit with his blessings will be ideal.
Of course he should do vids as long s he is capable. But as he said give them a chance. 🤗😊

This country conveniently forgot the valour and sacrifice of the brave for the past 60 odd years and today they are deservingly being lauded.. All modi baiters who thrash and pulp him must atleast acknowledge the hard work he has individually put up to make the nation revere these brave hearts. The diwalis he spent with them, the focus and the operational independence he gave the armed forces have put them in the spotlight. This govt.,deserves all the kudos for these tireless efforts.
Hopefully for a thankless nation like as we are this trend of respecting the valour and bravery will continue post modi raj too !!!
Even Sekhar Goopta would have been scratching his balls all these 58 years and he has suddenly woken up to link it to Nehrooo (and pay his gratitude to Nehroo family).. After paying obeisances to Nehroo, he told all 'stories' that had no relevance to understanding the valour and standing of SFF.. Ramnath Goenka would be turning his grave for the way he genuflects to Nehroo's legacy..
Rhea arrested!!
