Hi Majestic I love your content. Regarding transgender athletes, I recommend doing research and watching actual transgender athletes speak about their experience. There’s a lot of misinformation out there and that instance that you were talking about were allegations made against another woman that were rooted in bigotry and transphobia. Athletics are all about advantages based on biological build. (For example, naturally tall people being more likely to be better at basketball). So when people specifically target trans individuals who just want to play sports like everyone else, most of the time it’s coming from a place of transphobia without any real evidence that they don’t belong there in the sport. Anyway it’s definitely a topic that a lot of people are talking about! And too many thoughts to put in one comment. Thanks for being open to these conversations! Love ya!

I’d like to add that there is solid scientific research that has been done that shows that transitioning fundamentally changes a person’s muscle mass, reaction times, bone density, oxygen usage, etc etc all the sporty things. a transgender woman is no longer built like a man, because she’s a woman!!! there’s also so much variation between women that there is no way to be accurately nitpicking how tall or muscular etc someone can be to be considered a woman, because women, including cis, come in ALLLLL shapes and sizes and abilities

I think three categories in the Olympics could be beneficial and also interesting. They could be: ppl assigned female at birth, ppl assigned male at birth, and an open category. Any athlete can compete in a max of two categories if they are qualified and want to do so, but no one is required to compete in the open category. I think the open category could be really interesting to watch tho bc not only is it a safe space for lgbtq+ ppl to compete, it could also be where the best of the best athletes go to compete head to head, regardless of their gender. Don’t know if that description makes sense, but if I was in charge (which I’m not lol) that’s what I would do. But also I still have lots more to learn on the issue, so who even knows 🤷♀️🤣
As someone who works, we need to get paid for work related meetings during work hours which my current job does. To avoid phones from ringing and work stuff from going on we have a pre recording which states we are in a meeting. Also if the meeting must be before or after my work hours a recap from who’s in charged the following day would be appreciated. Some ppl get paid salary and not hourly so that extra time is a lot to ask of me lol 😂
Soo happy for the modern day gymnasts losing the stigma of having to be child like skinny. The amount of issues that stigma causes those women personally & career wise is awful.
Need to have a category where gender doesn’t matter maybe so ppl can choose to compete

I really agree with you on the sex education topic. I have experienced teen pregnancy and i wish at the time i had someone to tell me how likely you are to get pregnant if you are not using protection. It seems self explanatory but teenagers can be extremely oblivious, As i was.

I can understand being unsure about transgender people in sports because the categories are created with certain ideas of the people in the sports (especially womens sports). I think its not right to ignore fairness just for political correctness. However when you look at the science and facts, transgender women have been competing in womens sports already with no significant advantages. Especially if the transgender women have been on puberty blockers and estrogen it means they didn't go through male puberty and have typical female hormone levels so there is no biological advantage. Also the restrictions on womens sports can also apply to women born female if they have high levels of testosterone, which begs the question of what are we defining a woman being in these categories. And also transgender men who take testosterone compete with men born male with no issues and thats not really often discussed in this topic.

I was just at Busch Gardens Tampa and let me tell you. There was soooo many thongs walking around. I mean tons!! Now I personally don’t think it’s something you should wear at a family theme park but what the gymnasts are wearing are fine.

My thing is the trans community could be paired with someone born female and identify as female as long as they are in the same weight class bench the same etc but no one has brought that up for some reason I think it would help if they included everyone and that's a fair way idk
You have to be a complete sociopath to be okay with doing anything work related while not on the clock. People really have zero work life balance and then wonder while their life and mental health is in shambles. Your boss really does not care at aaaaaaall about you. Not even a little bit. The more you do, the more will be expected, until you’re broken and discarded. Any work meeting is (gasp!) work and will be done on work hours or compensated separately or I’m goooooone!
I agree about the gymnest thing w the outfits but i don’t think it’s just one race, it’s all. Olivia dunne is always getting shammed for her outfits and she’s curvy but white. So I think it’s across the board. And so unfortunate and gross. Let’s focus on the talent and unity.
Black women’s bodies have historically been more policed and hypersexualized compared to white women, so it makes perfect sense that she brought up the issue of race.
