Do you need to use special water for miniature painting? How about when painting with metallics? We talk about those recommendations, where they come from, and whether they might be true for you in this video!

I have heard many recommendations for stuff to use for mixing - windex, floor polish, etc. Those are for special purposes, not normal thinning?

Thanks for the info! I always heard weird explanations about why you should use distilled water etc... but the people advocating for it never really seemed too convinced themselves.

so test the pH of your water if you are worried.
