  • Okay! This is a longer video, with a LOT of information in it outside of just painting the face. Here are some links to the Miniature Painting Foundations videos I reference in here. Watching these shorter videos will give you more info on the different things I'm doing here!

I hope you'll enjoy this new series! Since they're bound to be longer and take a lot of editing, I probably won't do them as often, but we'll build the series out as well can. There will also be a companion PDF for this video at the $2 level on my Patreon at patreon.com/paintingbig. Thanks so much for your support, everyone!
I wanted to include a reminder that I do my own Twitch stream on Saturdays, starting around 3:30 pm USA central time on twitch.tv/paintingbig unless I'm out of town or something else is happening. If you have any painting questions, I'm happy to answer them when I'm live! (Note: I am out of town February 24--visiting my folks. :) I'll be back after that!

Such a nice video. Have a face I've been trying to do that feels flat and I think these are the couple tricks I needed. Looking forward to the next video, thank you.

This is so great! Thank you for making this seem simple and much less daunting. I'm not sure if you do this first on all minis but thats going to be my first thing rather than left for the end out of fear, and spend the rest of the time convincing myself the eyes are not that important haha
