I'm getting better at it but difficult to know when to push and when to rest.

My car is named Bluebell! 😁 Needed to hear hope today. I've suffered from ME/CFS for many years. The journey to getting well has been years.. I've been doing a program for about 5 months and still only a little progress I believe has been made. So i get very weary, depressed and mad. I will keep moving forward but Lord why is it taking sooo long??!! Ugh ☹️

Never give up, Stacy! Maybe you already found all the different channels on this, but for me it helps to listen to different people to broaden my perspective and find more keys to recovery. Like painfree you with Dan Oglio, and the Gupta Program with Ashok Gupta, the channel CFS Recovery and so on, all people who recovered, are interviewd by Raelan and have their own way of explaining things, which helps me to get the full picture and apply things in the best way possible within my ability. I am three months on the way and still waiting for progress, so I understand it's a struggle, but after allowing yourself some frustrating, I encourage you to let go of the negative feelings and get back on track. Don't give up, you can do it and you are worth it!

So inspiring. I also had a large thyroid nodule, which was removed with 2/3 of my thyroid. Thankfully it was not cancerous. I am at the start of my recovery journey - I am 53 in February - had chronic health conditions for 50 years. Now is my time

Whenever I listen to an interview like this, it always strikes me that we people with driven and push through and pull up your big girl pants and just get it done personalities seem to be more susceptible to these kind of chronic things? Like it's what gets us there, but it's also what empowers us to overcome? LOL or maybe we're just the only ones who go on to talk about it? Has there been any research on that? Thanks for giving those of us still in a battle HOPE!

I (29y) with CFS for 3 years feel like I get no support at all from my parents/family and I it feels so hurtfull inside, I wonder if this 'hurt' is holding back my recovery. These video's though have been an enormous help!

    • @NilaAsswhole

Yes it does. Dear Nick if you read this I can feel your pain. I wasnt believed either. But truly you only need yourself to heal. The moment i literally let go of the anger. Things got better quickly. So i was so focused on reading, wearching an recovery and proving people what I have that i became worse. So what I did first is to let my body feel joy again. So i lived without focussing on recovery for a while. I ate everything and started to go out more and enjoy thinhs. And sureley is tarted to get much better even tough i did not to recover. I just let my body feel joy and safety. And now I am started to implement things to get me to full recovery. My biggest advise , focus on you find joy and safety first. Surround yourseld with safe and loving people. ❤

We need to release painful emotions and understand why letting the hurt go is hard. Usually childhood stuff, but learning to let go is key. Not saying it’s not a painful experience, I know first hand it is.

@@nickm5760Perhaps look into the videos Dan makes at painfreeyou. He puts out new videos daily.
As for the resentment you feel I can relate.
My parents are very kind and loving but they never seemed to really listen or seemed to care about my illness, although they of course wanted me to be well.
But I slowly realised that I made myself worse by always complaining and talking about feeling unwell and I guess I became dull to be around.
So I tried to apply a positive mindset in order to not constantly think about my issues and that included not whining about it to others and it’s helped me so much. I’m not 100% well but perhaps at 80%.
And I’m much closer to my family now.
So I would try not to feel any resentment towards your parents. It won’t make you better, only worse. They don’t understand and they can’t understand how you feel ever.
      Hope that all makes sense.
My recovery was mostly about learning that stress and negative thinking was looping in my brain and that made me sick and gave me lots of symptoms. Learning how to rewire and retrain the brain to instead be ful of joy was the key.

Triggers are subjective and when perceived, it means there is inner healing work to do. ❤ A lot of recovery is about inner work, so no judgement here, I totally get that. Personally, I found both interviews great and Gez’ particulary informative as someone dealing with LC and ME/CFS.

Waste basket diagnosis. NHS are good at straight forward diagnosis, but if you have something more complex and you do not have funds to go private or lucky you are lost.

It would be so interesting to see the diagnosis statistics from different countries wouldn't it. It would be fascinating to see if different cultures make it more likely to develop ME/CFS/TMS etc. I imagine the more pressured, stressful western way of living would make it much more likely but it would be interesting to know if that is the case.

Purely diagnosis methods. In other countries you'd end up with some other label - most likely psychiatric.
