This was when I decided I wanted to DJ. My first doubles was the show because of this. I think Doug fresh had got into the UK charts briefly and they were on sale for 50p at woolies :) I didn't get a pair of decks for 10 years though haha and I was scratching on one speaker using the LR balance slider on a Rumbelows HiFi.
