Me living in a Hispanic area in college was a food dream Butchershop with Hella cheap fresh meat And a little little cafeteria My god and the proportions
Love your videos and the sincerity of making them. I'll help you clear doubts about Indian cuisine. 1. Lassi is actually an Indian form of sweet yoghurt made from milk. It comes in multiple flavours. 2. Palak paneer - spinach curry with paneer(tofu made of milk) 3. Everything you had was authentic except for the tandoori spaghetti (the noodle-like dish that you had). It was actually a fusion created by using international ingredients - noodle. 4. Next time do try - achari or malai kebab(chicken/lamb pieces marinated and fried), chicken/lamb biryani (form of rice blended with spices and marinated chicken/lamb pieces), gulab jamun(sweet flour balls soaked in sugar syrup) and chaas(buttermilk - it helps in digestion). . Indians eat with hands because of yoga and ayurvedic background that we have. Sitting on floor cross legged ignites the chakra in your stomach. When you eat with your hands. It is believed that our bodies are in sync with the 5 elements of nature and each finger represents one of those elements. This is believed to improve our consciousness of the taste of the food we eat. Not only are you feeding your body but also your mind and spirit. When you touch your food with your hands, you’re creating a physical and spiritual connection with it. You’re also much more present in the moment. When food is touched with the hands, there’s automatically more careful attention placed on it - what the temperature is, how much you can carry, how the hand must be held in order to keep the food in it. . P.s. We use different hands for eating and cleaning our butts. Right handed people will eat with the right hand and clean butts with the other hand. And vice versa for left-handed people. Also, hands are thoroughly washed using soaps. Keep eating, be healthy! Be happy!
Greetings from Germany :D. The coffee shop must be German, even the dog at 14:05 is a German Dackel ^^. Your plate at 14:10 looked pretty accurate , but a bit dry and simple aswell. There are so much better German sausages, not to forget the 1000 different types of bread. When my father was in the hospital last year he got pretty much the same plate every morning. If a non native tries German food, i would say the Brotzeit is more like an C or D tier, there are much better German dishes you could try. Would love to see you visiting a German restaurant in Seoul and try some Schweinshaxe with Sauerkraut. :D Enjoyed the video Jimmy, have a nice day!
It's super-interesting that while we Americans call that breed of dog by a German word, Dachshund, that they're referred to Dackel in Germany (of course, the fact that we refer to Deutschland as Germany in the first place says a lot about how English tends to malform foreign words). Thanks for this little tidbit!
4:06 "They're all kinda savory..." I agree completely! Our food is meant to be paired with rice to balance the savoriness of our entrees. I'm glad you enjoyed what our culture had to offer! 💖

Look it's simple 9:03 well, that's triggering my mysophobia..
As always I'm just amazed by the variety of food and restaurants you can find in Korea. I was totally surprised to see a german café😯 Love from Deutschland🇩🇪 Uncle Jimmy!
I never thought of Bicol Express as a form of curry,,, but it kinda does have curry elements(but instead of the usual curry spices, it has salty shrimp paste, fresh chillies and ginger so maybe more of a spicy coconut stew?) The filipino food looked authentic, really great. You should try adobo if you go there again next time
Also I'm surprised you finished the food without any rice XD. Filipino foods are very concentrated, oily and salty to complement the rice. Some even eat rice together with pancit canton
Judging by the looks (and the visible ingredients), the Filipino food you found looked pretty authentic. Only thing missing was rice - we mostly pair meat dishes with rice. But you had the Pansit anyway, so at least you had your carbs to go with it :D
That's unfortunate about the Mexican restaurant only having a selection of two meats. Must be difficult/expensive to import. Anyways, I agree. Soft tacos are the way to go. Also, the asada fries made me hungry. Your jokes about LA and everything was hilarious! Enjoyed this.
Jimmy you're too funny. no wonder all the Korean grandmas can't get enough lol I seriously love your jokes, don't stop poking fun at everything in your classic way.
Ahh we really enjoyed watching you enjoy Filipino food! 😍 Lechon is definitely a must-try when you come visit the Philippines! Other dishes I would recommend are Adobo, Sisig, Sinigang, Lumpia, Inasal chicken, oh and make sure to pair them with rice. Filipino food tend to be on the saltier side, so they would be perfect with rice. And for dessert, Halo-halo and leche flan!
Jimmy and Sunjin! Since last year, my girlfriend and me have been enjoying your videos. You've given us many laughs while absorbing information about the new things we see with your lens. Love the content!
i love the random jokes you throw into the videos. been watching you since your gaming videos and hope to see you try these foods in their original countries to compare
Wow! Filipino food in Korea! Amazing! The liempo is standard fare. The pancit canton looks legit! Turon looks fancy! Bicol Express is also standard. Glad you liked it. You should visit the Philippines to validate the authenticity of the food you just had. Mahal ka namin! :)
We use our LEFT hand and eat with out RIGHT HAND. Also there is this thing called SOAP that we use to disinfect our hands 🙌🏻. Well, atleast we clean our asses after taking a shit with water rather than just wiping it with some tissue paper. Quick question, with what hand do you guys throw the tissue paper in the dustbin? Do you use the same hand to eat? 😬
Hey. I love your videos, well done! Just one thing, Eating with hands also has rules and it doesn't mean there are no etiquette in table manners while eating with your hands. Usually the right hand is used and more often its considered improper to eat with both hands. While eating with hands you are to use your fingers only and that too the tip parts. You should avoid getting food on your palms. It is improper to lick your hands or palms and this is considered to be bad table manners. This is a commonly misunderstood that eating with hands is a wild game without rules. No. Just like the chopsticks and other utensils have proper etiquette it is the same with hands.
if you ever get the chance to expand your palette with mexican food I recommend tacos al pastor, sopes, & menudo (it’s a stew). Hope to see you try it someday :) . . . you’ll also know the tacos are gnna be good when there’s mexican music blasting from the kitchen 😂
About the toilet thing for indians we use left hand. Always always eat with right hands is what we are taught from childhood. we usually use only right hand to eat no matter how hard it is to eat with one hand. So note this down for the next time you try indian food.
I’m glad you love Filipino food. You know you can eat banana turon with vanilla ice cream you will love it more. And try Filipino food with rice. Bicol Express and grilled liempo is perfect with rice. Pancit canton can be pair with soft bread and even taste better with lemon or calamansi.
So happy that you liked our Filipino food, Uncle Jimmy! Hoping you could visit Manila some day! Just an additional info tho, we usually eat our meals(viand) like Bicol express with rice. (For lunch, dinner or even breakfast- no judgements here in PH) Everything goes with rice. 😂 Swear, you should try it again with rice! It will be the best thing ever. Anyways, excited for your new videos!! ❤❤
Jimmy! I'm glad you loved the Filipino food! I'm Filipino American, with my mom being originally from Bicol in the Philippines. Bicol is known for having coconut milk and spicy (the chili peppers look similar to Korean peppers) dishes! Hopefully you'll be able to go to the Philippines one day!
I ain't Indian, but I love me some Bollywood and Tollywood movies. I would highly recommend 'RRR' if you want to try, since the movie is so damn good. And for the food, I know this is kinda cliché since there are lots of vids of Koreans who have tried Malaysian food already, but it won't hurt to add another one from you, since I kinda love your honest review and your nonchalant jokes. So yeah.
You should try out Braai Republic in Itaewon! It's south african cuisine owned by a south african. Actually I went there myself when i visited Seoul recently and my south african mother wasn't that impressed by some of the food hahah however my boyfriend also came on his army break and it was his first time trying lamb (sourced from australia, i'm australian so can confirm the quality haha) it was like watching him fall in love🤣 highly recommend the lamb chops and meat pie! pair it with some cold beer 😉
I discovered your channel through my husband. I’m glad you enjoyed Filipino food 😊 I was also able to hear my favorite Filipino band playing in the background of the restaurant. While you want to be able to visit the Philippines, I want to be able to return to South Korea. Hopefully, our visa gets approved when we pass our application next week 😁 Looking forward to watching all of your videos in the coming days during my spare time 💕

haha Jimmy the stereotypes about the mexican restaurant were on point! Looks like you have experienced the real deal or you have good mexican friends, or both : p
Thank you for trying Indian food. Some of it do look authentic. I recommend Ganges restaurant (in Suwon I think) OR Everest in Yeongtong. I know because i have worked in Korea for 6 months. There are some stereotypes that you guys have which I would love to clear up. First, Slumdog Millionaire is western movie and doesn't reflect whole of India. There are many good Indian movies which you can watch, just check some of korean youtubers giving reaction to Indian movies. 2nd, the main difference between Indians and others regarding how we clean after excretion is that we use water and you guys use toilet paper. That's it. To hold the sprinkler jet OR toilet paper, we both use hands. And I was surprised how so many Korean bidets have in built sprinkler system now and you guys also started using water. Definitely, water is natural cleanser and much more hygienic. And we do wash our hands thoroughly with soap, i am sorry to say but I have literally seen koreans not using soap while washing their hands after coming out of toilet. And fun fact the toilet flush system was originated in India. Next, we do use our hands to eat, but we use utensils also (although food on banana leaf with leaf bowls taste much better). You can always be sure your hands are clean as compared to the fork you are using which don't know have been put in how many mouths and how well it is cleaned. Also, touching your food with your own hands activate your senses and you enjoy the food much better. Might be foreign concept for non-Indians and you might not feel comfortable initially but I can surely tell that it do enhances the experience. Also, I have literally seen foreigners struggling to cut Naan piece with knife and fork, which is much easier with hands. Regarding why we use one hand is just to keep the other hand free. There is no special reasoning behind that. All the nonsense theories are just stereotypes. Last, indian food is really very expensive there, especially veg food. The same amount of food wouldn't have cost even half of that in a decent restaurant here in India. I hope this would have helped. Thanks!!
There is something called "soap/disinfectant and water" which kills bacteria, well idk if koreans know about this but yes Indian do wash their hands properly after using washroom which is just so basic and i guess you lack it, even if it was so called "dark humour" it was lame af.
i usually don't recommend our foods to Koreans born and raised in their home country because they are pretty sensitive to the saltiness of what they are eating. I'm pretty surprise you finished it all. we make our dishes savory and that's why we always eat it with rice so it will balance out the flavor.
Just stumbled on your channel, and binge watched all videos, thank you for this quality content and humor, refreshing! As a German living in Korea I didn't know the last place, but Brotzeit looks legit like childhood dinner, mixed feelings about that.. it may not be a culinary masterpiece but legit hh
Ok i am indian and thankyou for trying our food But The part of you talking about using the same hand to wash and eat-😂 We use the right to eat And left hand to wash 😁 I like your videos uncle jimmy 🙂
Him trying Indian food sounded so ignorant and racist it was crazy, like why not throw in all the stereotypes possible without any research. is this 90s?? do we not have internet?? but alas that's what most Koreans think, so not surprised. they like to stay in their ignorant wells. but as an indian , hearing it was extremely jarring.
First off, Indians use their non dominant hand to wipe, also we have soap, we wash afterwards. Pretty disrespectful to the culture with you making jokes like that. We only eat rice and naan with our hands, for everything else we have forks & spoons.
Dude… your comments about using hands to eat and also use the bathroom are suuuper rude, inconsiderate and racist. I don’t think you actually are any of those things but I’m also a new casual viewer of your channel… maybe leave out such rude stereotypical comments next time. They’re very insensitive and you may have been joking but it was not funny, just offensive. Many cultures use their hands to eat. It does not mean they don’t have high hygiene practices.
nice video jimmy .... I'm an Indian and i eat with my hands ....and we DONT USE our two hands to eat ...we eat our food with RIGHT hand and we Don't wash our @ss with both hand , we normally use left or vice versa ...i like ur video but the so called funny stereotypical joke is not at all funny

Thanks!!
Lol ok
Jimmy is just a troll lol Im sure his friend told him the truth about India
dont be rude @@mino7631 , they are educating us
This was such a fun video loved it.
There is something called "soap/disinfectant and water" which kills bacteria, well idk if koreans know about this but yes Indian do wash their hands properly after using washroom which is just so basic and i guess you lack it, even if it was so called "dark humour" it was lame af.
Good looks good great content keep it up jimmy !!!
i usually don't recommend our foods to Koreans born and raised in their home country because they are pretty sensitive to the saltiness of what they are eating. I'm pretty surprise you finished it all. we make our dishes savory and that's why we always eat it with rice so it will balance out the flavor.
great video just started watching your videos
OMG FILIPINO FOODS!!!! U should also visit Philippines soon, we have the cheapest yet tastiest food 🥳
india and thailand both cheaper
Just stumbled on your channel, and binge watched all videos, thank you for this quality content and humor, refreshing!
As a German living in Korea I didn't know the last place, but Brotzeit looks legit like childhood dinner, mixed feelings about that.. it may not be a culinary masterpiece but legit hh
Ok i am indian and thankyou for trying our food
But The part of you talking about using the same hand to wash and eat-😂
We use the right to eat
And left hand to wash 😁
I like your videos uncle jimmy 🙂
Love the humor and the guest. She always seems cheerful with a great smile.
left hand for washing ..right for eating ..
Such good food content and noms!! So fun and satisfyinggg
Love from India🎊🎊🎊
You call yourself poor but always got a date😑😑😭😭.
When i visited Korea in july i think i went to Nasung Taco like 5 times. It was sooooo gooood, highly recomend and im glad i saw them in your video!
Love the video
First off, Indians use their non dominant hand to wipe, also we have soap, we wash afterwards. Pretty disrespectful to the culture with you making jokes like that. We only eat rice and naan with our hands, for everything else we have forks & spoons.
This was a fun video to watch, Jimmy. Food videos never gets old.
LOL the jokes you spittin is too funny lolol
nice video jimmy .... I'm an Indian and i eat with my hands ....and we DONT USE our two hands to eat ...we eat our food with RIGHT hand and we Don't wash our @ss with both hand , we normally use left or vice versa ...i like ur video but the so called funny stereotypical joke is not at all funny
Always love your vids deadly jimmy
Happy 210k subs glad to see this channel grow up so fast just keep up the good content and more people will see this and subscribe to you
Great video jimmy! Keep up the hard work!
As partly a mexican, having flour or corn tortillas warmed (baked) that way brings out more flavor. And your accent was spot on!
Jimmy being one of my top viewed channels ✨👏😳✨
Hello Uncle Jiimy, it has been a while. Due to my busy schedule, I haven't seen your video in a while. I'm not going to lie, but seeing you consume our Filipino cuisine made me really proud of the people in my country.
Bro has no filter lol 😂 I was dying when he said we need a few homeless to feel authentic
... Slumdog Millionaire is not bollywood nor is it an Indian movie. It was not made by an Indian or an Indian studio or Indian director.
i always love your videos jimmy :) i always look forward to them and love the food ones especially because i like to eat while watching :D
I love your videos, just added a bunch of those to my list of places to eat at. For the german cafe, I would recommend 'the bakers table' in itaewon. They have a much bigger german food variety and also fresh cakes and bread
Ur so talented Jimmy
1:40 “I ended up ordering it anyway” is such mood! 😂 great vid Jimmy!
12:47 😭😭😭I love that, I know he’s referring to what people say about Asian restaurants in the US
