Kinda like Rome, your innovative ideas and theories about the lore of this game are creating a strong foundation for a very successful channel. Great video!
BRO THE SPECIAL PROGAN CAME OUT AND WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT FURINA AND THE FURIES IS EVEN MORE INTERESTING BECAUSE THERES SOMETHING LITERALLY CALLED ERINNYES
Amazing video! I’m convinced that Egeria is the original archon. Similar to how we saw Makoto and Rukkadavata consciousness will probably see here too. I’m assuming hers could be contained with the abyss or maybe even linked to the heavily principles. I’m also convinced the statue of the seven are the original seven. I wonder if Fontaine will have different types of water. Some of it is livable for underwater species while other might be brown and toxic and might dmg us for gameplay perspective and this is because of the new hydro archon for whatever reason. Her water just isn’t pure. I’m shocked they kind of retcon the lore because originally they said only two archons died during the cataclysm but I guess now three. I wonder how the new hydro archon is linked to the previous one maybe she has some of the old hydro archons water but since it’s not 100% she’s kind of messed up. I’m very curious on Natlan since we know it took Latin America, Spanish, and West African inspiration. I feel like it will have multiple tribes and it’s not united nation. Instead each “tribe” could be based on some random tribe and the archon will have references to numerous tribes or real life gods.
Thanks!!!!! We'll have to see how it turns out. Based on the trailer it seems like the water in Fontaine has different properties than the rest of Teyvat. As for Natlan, I'm sooo excited!!! I need more lore crumbs hahaah
Now, considering that the Lord of Amrita is actually Egeria... - Egeria (Forneus/LoA) : "The original sin is the fairest, Everyone sinks. Make the most of the final feast, because for the sinners, the *Curtain Call has Come* ." - Prophecy regarding the Hydro Archon (Furina/Focalors) : "The people will all be *dissolved into the waters* and only the Hydro Archon will remain, weeping on her throne." I got a gut feeling that a war might break out between the two. We essentially help lessen the burden of the Lord of Amrita through the world quest "Khvarena of Good and Evil" which might allow her to reform her mortal body with the now excess energy formerly used to held back the full might of The Sign of Apaosha (with or without the Oceanid aid) as both her consciousness and body (her body just melts, becoming the Amrita pool) is there in the Vourukasha Oasis. (We might be also responsible for her revival by passively purifying the Amrita pool.) Now revived and high possibility of being enraged (based on the big creature in Overture Teaser), she might ended up rallying the Oceanids to her cause, sending them to Fontaine for an all out invasion (Quite fitting considering that Fontaine is based on France, and this is essentially a revolution). And remember, she is the victor of the Archon War, so she will be a capable general or at least a great fighter. If through her spies, Amrita learned about a tyrant has replaced her as a leader of a nation she painstakingly build, I don't think she'll stay put. And high possibility we have to fight her to knock some sense into her for her to stop her invasion. ( Even though it might be too late, plus the Gaokerena looks like an arena TBH, but that maybe just a coincidence.) From my perspective, this would be a great large scale crisis for the later stages of Fontaine.
It definitely seems like there is a ton of tension between the way Furina/Focalors handles things vs how Egeria/Forneus did things! I think there could definitely be a conflict that emerges but I also wonder if Furina will make peace with the former hydro archon? It's definitely a really interesting storyline! If we do end up traveling to the Vorukasha Oasis, I also wonder if Nahida will intervene since it's on her territory? haaha sooo many questions xD
So Lyney and Lynette, these things I’ve known since I heard their names because I read some Arthurian legends when I was younger Lynette is a name that comes up in the Arthurian legends with Lyonesse as her sister They are most commonly seen in Le Morte D’Arthur of which they are the sisters of Gringamore. Gringamore is usually seen with a relationship with Morgan Le Fey. Dame ynette comes asking for assistance against the red knight in Book IV: The Tale of Sir Gareth of Orkney, Since Lynette does not reveal her name for reasons unknown, she is given a kitchen servant instead of a champion or hero. He says his name is Beaumains, he’s actually Gareth Of Oarkney, the nephew of King Arthur, he’s in disguise. They encounter 4 knights on their journey, the black, the green, the blue, and the red knights, and then finally the The Red Knight Of The Red Lands whose name is Sir Ironside. Gareth kills the black knight, gets the others to join Arthur’s court, and then they save Lynette’s sister, Lynoesse and Gareth falls in love with her, lustful, Gareth plans to consummate their relationship before marriage. The only reason it was unsuccessful was because of Lynette’s magical intervention. Now what does this mean? Well I don’t know, I’m just pointing out what I know so others can make theories, I personally find this very interesting, and if you add Ashikai’s theories about Arthurian legends and it gets even more interesting. Morgan Le Fey is said to be connected or similar to Circe and if you take into account Ashikai’s theory that Circe and Skirk are the same or representative of each other… And Gringamore is most likely represented by Freminet now… And Gringamore has a relationship with Morgan Le Fey… This actually makes more sense than I thought, I’m connecting the dots. Freminet might know Skirk.
Ohhhh I remember reading about this! Gringamore and Morgan reside in Avalon I believe. So I wonder if that's the representation of Khaenri'ah or the Abyss? It's definitely interesting to consider and we know that Skirk trained Childe when he accidentally fell into the abyss so its definitely possible.
I'm also curious to see if Furina will go see the former hydro archon at the Vorukasha Oasis. It would be interesting to see what she has to say and how that interaction plays out!
Man, I love this video. I’m honestly amazed you figured this out, it makes me super excited for Fontaine’s release! Also, as a French person, it makes me very happy how well you pronounced Neuvillette’s name!
I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be like that it wouldn’t be unique or be it’s own thing if two of the archon shared the same backstory it was much be better for the Pyro archon to be a reincarnation or resurrection of the pyro archon
I also had that theory of Forneus being the former Hydro Archon. However Vephar is also a canditate, considering how Vephar is a mermaid who governs waters and guides warships. Considering Focalors overthrows warships, it would be a nice hint towards the clash between Furina and Egeria. Well Forneus is definitely the better candidate though.
I did research into other demons who could fit the profile as well. Vephar was definitely one of the top candidates. I wish I could've fit everything into one video but i ended up cutting the part on Vephar and other demons candidates out. But I agree Forneus seems the more likely fit here!
I wonder how things will turn out I’ve never been interested in archon lore other than venti so i hope the game twist things and make it exciting thou its like below getting crit % chance that it’s going to happen
this whole video makes me way more excited for natlan and snezhnaya rather fontaine! i'm just interested how they will conect every mythological reference in these archons and keep it true to the lore of the game >
That's one thing I always appreciated with Genshin. The cultural and mythological references make the game just that much more deep and interesting. I'm also interested in Natlan as well. They better have a Kulkulkan referenceee
I really love your Egenia research, and it's inspiring me to research a few other areas I've never thought to, like more Greek influence for this French nation. But I'll be honest, you wasted a lot of time trying to "persuade the audience" on the idea of Furina being Focalor. Even if you don't follow leaks, where people would find out 3-6 months ahead of time, between everything we know from Fontaine and Focalor in game, to how Furina is presented in the trailers, Hoyo is _not_ hiding the fact Furina is the Hydro Archon.
Thank you for the feedback!!!! I wanted it to be a bit more about the lore on the Archons but in hindsight I do definitely see how it comes off as super "persuady" I'll definitely keep that in mind for when I script future vids!
The latin pronunciation would be Ars-Goh-Et-Tia but from english phonics and sounding it would would be the above pronunciation! I've heard people interchange and use both

haha thank you!! I'm trying my best to learn the correct pronunciations
I think every the hydro and pyro archons will be reincarnations of their predecessor. A theme of a repeated cycle in Teyvat
That kinda reminds me of the IL from Honkai Star Rail!
I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be like that it wouldn’t be unique or be it’s own thing if two of the archon shared the same backstory it was much be better for the Pyro archon to be a reincarnation or resurrection of the pyro archon

I also linked "Furina" to the furries. I mean, it was pretty obvious. I hope Furina goes apeshit like in her burst or something.
Furina going crazy in her burst would be amazing. Both eyes glowing a dark blue as she destroys everything around her

another good genshin lore video

So if Egeria followed her IRL counter part and turn into a spring after death does that the "King" has also died during the cataclysm?
The "King" might be someone we haven't met yet or will find out more about. I'm not sure haha we'll have to see
