how did you make the initial half circle? Its only selecting one face for me

Once you draw your oval, split it in half with a line.
Btw you should check out the updated helmet tutorial, it’s much easier to follow and has more details 👌

Thanks for making this. What software do you use to record this (and shows the red dots for the touch points)?

Just use the ipad recording. The dots are in the shapr3d settings :)
