Freaking amazing, The man that turned down big time cash to become obscure , happy Fulfilled. I got mad agape love for the guy, I cant stand greedy money lovers!!!!!
I worked this festival and was one of two guys making the decision to hire Mick Taylor for this night. I was really looking forward to it and it was great to set up his amps, touch his guitars etc. Plus I got some MT stuff signed. A freind of mine recorded this on tape which is what you see. I have a copy of it and glad to now have it available on UA-cam. The tape was loaned out some so I'm not surprise it ended up on UA-cam. This was right after Taylor's first solo album came out and we expected some songs from that but they selected playing Blues progressions all night. That was disappointing but I loved MT's playing so much I would have done it again anyway!
Check out MATTIEL. She has learned a lot from this piece and this era. Funny, this version is (oh dear) better than any of the black versions I can find. It shouldn't be slow unless the singer wants to make it unbearably sexy.
Superb Taylor. Gorgeous Taylor. Talented Taylor. Love you Taylor. Your my favorite now from all the Stones. You took Jaggers place.
holy fuck calm down
As alwasys, Mick Taylor playing a guitar,..sheer perfection!
I never tire of listening to Mick Taylor play
