One of the best R & B guitarists of any era. Strong hints of jazz in his playing. His guitar skills are universally recognized by his fellow musicians.
Agree. And you can probably tell by my avatar I love Mr. Richards. Keith is the best rhythm guitar player and songwriter, but Taylor could take his songs and elevate them to a whole new level. I was just listening to Gimme Shelter from Philly '72, and there's no question Taylor (and Keith) is one of the best. I love Ronnie, I'm not hating on him or Brian Jones at all. But based on pure technical skill (which he plays beautifully, not just a bunch of notes), he's above and beyond.
raphael storto I have only seen a version of Alabama that might be from that show, it's from the same tour anyway. There is a pretty good bootleg from Café Campus as well.
thank you so much i have first 5 songs from cafe campus if ther'es more what i would give to get my hands on . i have some video from 360 show keyboardplayer has.anything is awesome and i will send you some gifts where do i find stuff. im new at this guess you gotta look around the guitar player is hoarding all full sows
What a strange man Mick Taylor is ! His 45 yr old 'solo career' has definitely been "A Secret Affair " , what a waster ps the host/ presenter is embarrassingly clueless !!
