I read the books after seeing the movie, and it was a true Disney Frankenstein creation. They just cut and pasted the best bits and made a workable but horribly adapted film. So if they're doing live action, they might hold truer to the source material for the most part. Not that I don't love the animated movie though. I just consider it it's own entity.

Percy Jackson is distributed by disney Hyperion so it's possible. I don't know why another company made those god awful movies but I hope disney does make a reboot

Here's another novel Disney should make as a film: Around The World In 80 Days. This time as an animated film. I'll hate myself for saying this but 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea is overrated. I truly still love it though and an origin film of Captain Nemo does sound very interesting to watch.
I really wish to see Alexa's epic adventures upon the big screen, and not two freaking decades or even one decade from this year, I want the Land of Elyon books to be adapted earlier, I wish I was the director-producer or screenwriter of them.
The only way I’m down for Oliver Twist the musical is a Hamilton style rap musical. The original musical is already a movie (they showed a clip). Also like they said we have Oliver & Co from Disney as well as August Rush as they best live action version possible.
I grew up reading Artemis Fowl...and having my hopes up and down every time there was a rumour about the movie. I’m worried now that is gonna be real because I’ve seen they changed a lot of important things so I’m sort of happy but I feel like Disney is gonna fail us hahaha
i would like to see artemis fowl adapted to a movie or tv series but the problems that made me hesitate several times if i really wanted to see it adapted is that it is a good action thriller with some comedy for teens but some of that comedy is childish even for teens and i end up cringe just by thinking of the possibility of some of that end up at the big screen
