2023 began with difficulties, filled with uncertainties, worries, and deep sorrow.
However, as the year unfolded, it turned out to be the first time after so many years where everything fell into place and went right.
I'm sharing a short recap of our cozy family gatherings during Christmas and New year.
Light dinner and marble cakes for afternoon tea are some of my happy moments at home on repeat.

@@marcius7308 Dear Paul… I read you have a lot of questions… I appreciate your huge interest in what I think where I came from and practically my whole life.. I’ll try to answer them one at a time… but for now.. let me tell you and I again that whatever mistakes we did in our lives.. we should never regret them. That’s the rule I set to myself. That’s being kind to ourselves first and forgiving our imperfections. We cannot expect the world or other people to do that for us. Life is not fair and it takes us to many dark places. We lose ourselves and some people find their paths again, some don’t. It‘s life. It’s painful and wonderful at the same time.
I try to simply live the day that’s given to me to spend as simple and as wonderful and as quiet as I can. As I age, health wont be better, I just need to be mature and smarter enough to enjoy it despite our physical decay.
There‘s a lot of smart people who wrote books that I take inspiration to battle my own weaknesses and help remind me and reflect how wonderful just a simple quiet day is.
Despite that, I’m not exempted from life’s challenges and hardships. I’ve been thankful for those pains. They taught me a lot because I chose to listen to them. After understanding why those emotional pains were there, I was able to ask them not to linger to long in my life. They were guests. Instead I search for inner peace and ask them to stay longer when they are in a visit.
