I love Jamis. Underated bikes. Great value. I watched that same young kid teach me how to wheelie lmao. You learned much more quickly than I did.
I bought a 2021 Trek Remedy from a local shop and wanted to add a bit of local flare to her since I don't know when or if I will be upgrading anytime soon since the industry seems to be booting the 27.5 wheels out the door besides the mullet set up that some people are loving. So with that I added a set of WAO carbon wheels (Since I live in Kamloops and I love the lifetime warranty as I have been going through rims lately), with that build I put the I9 hydra hub on and I can tell you for techy climbs or pedaling into a feature. That rear hub is arguably one of the best upgrades I did to my bike. Its absolutely amazing and the lack of delay when powering down just blows my mind but that is my opinion.
I upgraded to industry nine 1/1enduro s and it made a big difference. Love them.
I ride their Enduro 305 system wheels. The instant engagement of the hydra hubs really helped out my climbing in the chunky stuff after starting out on lower quality wheels. Doesn’t hurt that they look great with various color options and are made here in the USA too!
What's their max tire size?
@@DB-sd3cw I don’t know what their max tire size is. I ride 29x2.5-2.3
@@MikeOn2Wheels gotcha thanks anyways mate
This is where you start getting into parts that cost more than the bikes you ride...great stuff for sure!
Yea definitely not looking to pay that much for parts lol
My husband has the same I9 wheelset and loves them. I have a high quality wheelset on my gravel bike and it is amazing how much of a difference a high quality wheelset makes.
Onyx Hubs for sure
Thanks for the video and its informative content. I'll be looking further into the industry nine line up.
Still riding the stock DT Swiss on my Canyon Spectral 125 and they can take a beating, but the Industry Nine wheels and hubs look really nice.
I have a set of Enduro S wheels and a set of Trail S Carbon wheels, I love them!
@1:18 sending 60-70-80 foot gaps? My guy @lawtondenisofficial where are you finding these types of hits?
😅
I9 enduro rims feels great too
Matty, you have the wheelies dialed. I know it's not gonna help me, but I would still like to see you put out a wheelie tips video.
It could help I’m sure! And I will definitely do that still
I’d like a set of Berd TR30 All mountain wheels with the hydra hubs. 1490g all up.
It's hard to imagine a Jamis built up that nice.
Have the Hydras on my roscoe 7... great hub
Saving up to do the same on my Roscoe.
I love i9. They're worth all the hype!
I love the i9 hubs, but I wasn’t to happy with the enduro s wheelset, it was non stop breaking spokes on my rear hub. But the engagement is awesome!
Same brotha , spokes snap so easily . Iv snapped spokes on climbs lol.
@@323johnnybravo nice to know it wasn’t just me. I sold the wheel set after about the 4 th spoke… no patience for that since it shouldn’t happen so east.
@@50whatnomadtravelnursemtb5 Lols I even snapped one on a smooth G out compression on a flow trail. You’re definitely not the only one.
That’s crazy what do you think it was I just bought a set of enduro s hydras
@@jmovision270 don’t know, 28 spokes and 200lbs lol
