Nice Old Bridge! Bethlehem Steel, My Grandfather was in Sales for the Bethlehem Steel Co. He helped fulfill a steel order for the Golden Gate Bridge. My Dad was born in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. NNKH Great Video as always,, Thanks for Sharing! Watched the Clapper Videos,, Jen was very funny when she said the Clapper had a few Mis-Clapps..LOL
Excellent! Our 2001 2500 6 speed H.O. With the 1997 Lance Squire 165s Lite got 11.2 mpg over highway 80 Donner pass. North to Sacramento over to Reno and back. 58 to 60 miles per hour and some 65 in Nevada. About 560 miles round trip. Great video. Nice presentation. Thank you.
Dear NNKH couple. 👍👌👏 Simply fantastic! I absolutely love your camper/camping trips. Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to both of you.
Marlinton close to where my mother grew up. My grandfather ran the steam engines at Cass back during the logging years. That bridge and bike trail was created back in the late 80's. Before that it was a railroad that connected Marlinton with Cass. Amazing area with beautiful scenery.
Great vid! Greetings from Arkansas - bored with record snowstorm here now, like 15 degrees and a foot of snow so can't go anywhere and your vid popped up so I watched it - cheap pass the time by entertainment!
Greetings to ya! We're out in Pennsylvania. And damn man, sounds chilly. Yeah everybody's been getting a lot of snow this year it seems like. Which is pretty sweet. I'm down in Florida right now just for a couple days. Appreciate you checking the video out!
I grew up in those mountains.. My family is scattered in the area... Cass Scenic Railroad is a great excursion too.. My cousin has cabins , horeback trail rides & even a multi day horse trek into the hills.. Complete with chuck wagon where all meals are prepared...
I've biked the Greenbriar Trail. It's part of the Rails-to-Trails network. The weather could have been better during our visit, but peaceful nonetheless.
Nice, I grew up in williamsport PA. It’s good to see some knoebals footage. It’s a great park. It’s got that old school “You’ve got a friend in pennsylvania”. Miss those plates.
If you enjoy the outdoors and camping you have to come to New York. It's true breath taking. Allegheny State Park is one of my favorite places on planet earth lol. It's very much worth the drive going there.
You should have came here to Wise VA if you want beautiful camping spots. If you like bike riding then you most definitely have to check out Damascus at the VA TN state line just east of Abington VA (Abington is a beautiful spot as well)..all of it is beautiful country with long trails to ride on and its all small town's and back country.
Was just gifted a ‘95 12v Dually with 170k miles on it that we are now fixing up and looking at campers for. You’re truck is definitely in a lot better cosmetic condition but this video gives me hope that my project is going to pan out lol. About to look through the rest of your page now for more inspiration..!
If you haven’t yet, be careful on the weight of the camper. They are heavy. I had to add air bags that made all the difference. I’m saving for the Grand designs 150 series 226RK. It my only option to get the weight off the truck and not have a pull trailer. We just put $6000.00 back into our 2001 Cummins H.O. These old trucks are worth saving.I won’t afford a new one. Best of luck with your truck.
Yeah what a great spot! I've only been there a couple times. It was really busy on Saturday and Sunday, but we stayed until Monday and the place was basically abandoned by Monday when i took the drone footage. What a gem
We have 22 acres in konnarock va, it's the south west of va about 15 miles off of 81 I'm the mountains. The town in the valley is called Damascus, and it is tourist area for biking. In Damascus there are 9 bicycle rental stores, that you can either rent a bike or bring your own. They have 15 passenger vans with trailers they take you up the mountain and drop you off to ride the Virginia creeper trail back down to Damascus. There are several camp grounds within a few miles of our property. Bear tree gap, and I believe the other is mt Rogers, there's alot of beautiful scenery around there South Holston Dam, Backbone rock that was tunneled through for train years ago, and now a road runs through it, you can walk up and over it, there are camp sites there as well. Cool place if yous can ever get down there.
danggg thats great my 97 12v 5 speed 4x4 with my lance 835 gets 11.5.12 mph I have 3.55 gears and 285x75x16 too but tires on Alcoa wheels I think I would get better on at tires thanks for the vid take care ! I do have a aero 60 gal tank so I can do a good day of driving without filling up
Is that at highway speed? I have a feeling I would get the same if I was on the highway the whole time. Guess I'll find out next trip. A wow, 60 gallon tank? That's awesome
Thanks. Didn't have much of a plan when I started shooting clips for this video so kind of just slapped it all together. LOL. Probably should have had a better story line.
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow Andrew would have kept those truck and camper prep videos you posted earlier and made it one big video. Maybe throw in some repair work that wouldn't be enough for it's own video.
Yeah that's true! I actually do have a heater repair video for the truck camper I still have to edit. Was going to make it in its own video though just so in case somebody else has the exact same problem. His videos are much longer that's for sure! Lot of footage and editing. Hats off to him
remember those times were the diesel was 4..8 U$.... good times hahaha I'm switching my lance 1985 for or a van or a truck camper, we are looking into it. I love the ram, but for some reason the Lance fans hate the ram...
no prob It is exactly like my dad's but his had 350,000 miles. He bought almost new 98 sold it in 07. I was really young and I remember I cried watching it leave the farm. I think he cried to.. sorry for the long story you don't really care to know but God bless!

“Well anyway... Jen doesn’t have much to say..”. 😂😂😂.
LOL yeah. She's not too fond of the camera
I’ve been going back catching up on some of your old videos. Almost 14 mpg with a loaded down camper and mountain driving, that’s awesome.
Love to visit Knoebels. Wifes family live in the area so we’ve been going there for 40 years. Best family run park I’ve ever been to.

Gosh so glad I discovered your channel yo guys are great love your adventures keep up the good work
Looks like a great weekend. And I agree that train conductor would have had a very scenic route. Cool bridge and tunnel.
Great trip indeed! Yea that tunnel was marvelous!
How things have changed she loves it now lol😂
I really like the outdoor vid content. That is a truly beautiful part of the Country. You've got a great life. Thanks for sharing.

Great vid. Knoebels in my back yard. Check out the atv park near by called AOAA. Thats where i ride my 86 trx 250r.
Cool, I'll have to check that out. And yeah Knoebels is amazing! Recently put another video up of the place on my other channel R NoNonsenseKnowHow

Lol Jen cracks me up. Zero interest in being in the videos haha

The Engineer would be going real slow!!
Did you have too do anything to your rear suspension to haul your Lance Cabover?
I just added a heavy duty sway bar by hellwig. Otherwise it already has pretty darn stiff springs
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow thanks I’ll look into Hellwig sway bars. I just purchased a small Lance cabover 1850 lbs and was concerned. Again, thanks!!

Your wife Jen is a “Frisky Filly”!
On you go Spiderman chris
Nice to be quiet and just enjoy life. See and disgust more that way
Wouldnt a Toyota 4wd with it on back get way bwtter mileage? In Australia it would be mounted on a Holden ute with even a 6cyl motor!
Maybe a touch better but you wouldn't have the grunt and torque of the diesel for steep hills
What amusement park was that. My parents use to have a place in Ripley WV. I love the mountain state. So much to do
It was Knoebels in Pennsylvania
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow thanks a lot. I love checking out those old amusement parks. I’ll definitely check it out in the spring.

I know this a long shot but would you sell your truck? My dad had the same truck but sold it and regrets it. But if your willing am very interested!
I'm flattered that a stranger would want to buy it, but no definitely holding on to it. I love this truck. Even though she rides like an old brick.

Why did you get rid of this camper?
I did use it enough and needed the money
My 69 428 gets 5 mi to the gallon
It makes for easy math
Was this filmed on a toaster?
Can you elaborate on what you mean?
