Dude built his own HICAS system! That’s awesome, I’m kind of amazed that someone hasn’t done it sooner to be honest. Those donuts look fucking wild I’d love to experience that from the passenger seat
Josh has an amazing channel. The first little truck was cool. He took it on a cool road trip and it broke down...and anyone who helped fix it got to sign the truck.
DAMN easy to miss Roswell. His description of Western TX and Eastern NM is on point and Cloudcroft to Alamogordo/White Sands National Monument is a great ride/drive
It truly is beautiful.. lived in Alamogordo a few years back, 15-20min drive from high desert to heavily forested mountains. 20min drive the opposite direction & you're at white sands.. quite a bit of stuff to do & places to stop along the way.
Still can’t believe I randomly ran into josh at the gas station down the road from my house in Savannah one day in the twin turbo hilux. Awesome dude !
I experienced the same thing on a roadtrip to Glacier National Park in Montana. Going through South Dakota into Montana, had the wildest amount geography & scenery changes in such short amounts of time. It seemed like every 10 miles we were in a different part of the world. But the park itself, & it's mountains, forests, actual glacier, ice blue lakes, sketchy mountain-side trails & roads.. plus the bears, mountain lions, rams, moose etc.. made for the most unbelievable, breathtaking beauty imaginable. I could have died there.. I'm 26, I've traveled a lot, but i was at peace with life.😂 Words cant describe the place.
I flew into Houston Texas with a buddy of mine and drove a 1970 AMC Rebel that he bought off of eBay all the way to Athens GA, in July; but y'all are effin' crazy! Salute!
My mans named his truck the same name as my beloved, late german shepherd "stomper" much love to the amazing people at vin wiki for this quick glimps into the past! Love yall!
We drove from Roswell to Redosa (? not sure that's spelled correctly) and the temperature difference was insane. We went from the AC to the heater.. and pine tree forest, trees as big around as a trash dumpster.
I have traveled extensively. I mean, well, I've been across the globe. I can technically say that I've been in the majority of countries. I don't mention that to brag, I mention that to touch on something said... You mentioned how the media paints it as a scary place but it really isn't true. In all my travels, I've developed a saying. I think it's worth sharing here... "People are people, no matter where I go."
I couldn't agree more, I've been to every state in the US, most of Europe, and a few countries in Africa. I've been so many places, and there's so many more I want to get to.
As a literal cowboy, I'm sorry man but I cannot take a black ten gallon seriously. That said, man found a way to roughstock ride without the roughstock, so maybe I outta be deferring to him.
Now I'm curious... sounded like he was building the all wheel steering as a product that you could install... what's the company? Is there a website? It'd be rad to put one of those in my project car... :D
The most beautiful sun sets are in albuquerque new mexico hands down the colors in the sky r amazing just becareful not to get ur car stolen here we got a pretty big problem with that here
So he recreated the setup that the Chevy Silverado had like a decade ago? It was, apparently, a great system and reviewed really favorably. So congrats.
Josh blamed it on the media making people afraid of what's out there, making them put up a wall between them and anyone else. Right around 13:00 in this video.
It was destiny to meet that guy for the springs.... You don't get that when you drive across the country in a reliable vehicle. 😁👍 Edit: Wish I could find friends like this... 😂
Texas heat is for pu$$y$. Come to Phoenix with that with the 120+ heat with monsoon storms and without interior insulation, inside your vehicle will get 160+ and getting out into the 120° temp is like AC. You haven't seen a sunset until your in Phoenix area. We get the pink and purple sky's every night they say we are in a valley, the sunsets are amazing. And sun rises are different. First time I left Phoenix and saw the sun rise somewhere else, I didn't know the sun rise would glow then shine. I never seen that. And it's normal. In Phoenix, the sun rises and immediately shines because 5he mountains around the valley block us from seeing the sun rise proper
The center of rotation is not in the center for the axles.. its in the center of mass..as it is "freely spinning" and not fixed to a point.. i.e the center of rotation is right behind your back.. cab, occupant and engine is all up front. you are lucky if you pulled 2G..
So much of that "G force" story was cap 😅 space shuttle isn't "regulated" to 3.5g's, nobody was blacking out at 4g's, and how did you pass tech if they tried to email you about a required piece of safety equipment that you didn't have,
Depends on the state. Cars over 25 years old can be imported and registered if they meet the state's regulations. Lights, emissions, so on. It's sometimes also possible to register it as a kit car. Vermont has very relaxed inspections and allows people from out of state to register their cars there. Also, Why Did You Capitalize Every Word? You only capitalize the first word and proper nouns.
"You miss the adventure when you have reliability and comfort," this needs to be on a t-shirt
on a trashy tank top
I'd buy one.
I'll take a sticker for my 89 🤣
Top t-shirt idea of 2023
Sounds like the gambler 500.....
Josh is a true man of adventures and his stories always make ones day a little happier no matter what your mood
Dude built his own HICAS system! That’s awesome, I’m kind of amazed that someone hasn’t done it sooner to be honest. Those donuts look fucking wild I’d love to experience that from the passenger seat
Nissan did it with the J30 and Honda did it with the Prelude 90's Si
@@RevengeAvenger but they are global car manufacturers, he's a guy in a shed
@Woodie-xq1ew and he didn't develop it lol
This is one of the best Car Stories Ed has released in quite a while. I'm totally digging on this guy's vibe
Josh has an amazing channel. The first little truck was cool. He took it on a cool road trip and it broke down...and anyone who helped fix it got to sign the truck.
what a privilege
Josh is actually quite good at Vinwikin. These videos truly deserve more views
What could possibly go wrong?
I got alien clamydia.
That’s sick! These little Kei vehicles are definitely making a mark here
“Clap some alien cheeks” 😂😂😂
I like Southern Keanu Reeves and his builds. A 4WS twin-turbo V8 kei truck and a long-travel LTD Crown Vic are wild.
"It's not fun, it's something you must endure" applies to a lot of situations in life really lmao
My biggest regret was not getting to ride in it!
But you've got a Fetty Se!
I rode in the bed section across LS Fest. All the edges are razor sharp, do not recommend.
I got to drive it, it was wild. No, I did not do a cyclone. Just drove it across the parking lot at LS fest.
Same
DAMN easy to miss Roswell. His description of Western TX and Eastern NM is on point and Cloudcroft to Alamogordo/White Sands National Monument is a great ride/drive
I really appreciate that you reminded everyone that people have the capacity to be good when you don't look at them through the gaze of social media
Nothing more fun that "slightly sketchy" 😅
Nice to see Josh on here!
“Go clap some Alien cheeks” 😂😂😂
3:42 “You miss the adventure when you have reliability and comfort” ❤
I love how Stomper will live it’s days as a yard truck. Some people are very fortunate!!
What an awesome story! Builds up over time. White sand state park, adding it to the list!

yes yes and yes

Ah, the essence of the Roadkill show. Go on an adventure, breakdown, fix it, repeat
Best video in a while!
My mans named his truck the same name as my beloved, late german shepherd "stomper" much love to the amazing people at vin wiki for this quick glimps into the past! Love yall!
now you know why I fell in love with the west. now think of that trip on motorcycle, camping in a hammock the whole way.
We drove from Roswell to Redosa (? not sure that's spelled correctly) and the temperature difference was insane. We went from the AC to the heater.. and pine tree forest, trees as big around as a trash dumpster.
Stomper is the perfect name. A fellow 80s kid obviously.
I've been waiting years for the auto tempest app to finally come out. This is what i've wanted for so long
Josh, awesome story! It was great seeing you at LSfest west! I hope you got the power steering pump sorted out!
Broke down and "had to" make new friends I love that
Great job guys! 🎉
Cloudcroft, Ruidoso, White Sands, excellent road trip excursions.
Awesome hearing stories from Josh!
You missed the bbq in Cloudcroft. Mad Jack's is legendary, and deserving of the legend.
I have traveled extensively. I mean, well, I've been across the globe. I can technically say that I've been in the majority of countries.

Ive been following Josh since he built his Hi Lux, go look that up, its cool too, Ive seen stomper in person, its a wildly cool machine.
As a literal cowboy, I'm sorry man but I cannot take a black ten gallon seriously.
That said, man found a way to roughstock ride without the roughstock, so maybe I outta be deferring to him.
That was definitely a wild looking road trip
Stomper.. good name. I still have my childhood Stomper toy truck today.
When you live through the eyes of a mechanic.
You need a wall up
Damn I miss living in New Hampshire it sucks I'm stuck in Florida
NH gang forever aha, just gotta deal with 5-6 months of winter lol but worth it for fall and spring imo lol
"If you get out in the world you find nothing but love and kindness" 13:20
Making memories …..priceless.
When a project is beyond fun, because beyond fun is fear.
This is absolutely insane
Still to this date the only person to be requested to have a remote kill switch @ a Holley Fest
And Im proud of myself for being able to change a flat, change my oil, and do my brakes. Ill go ahead and turn in my man-card before I leave.
Convertible in the front party in the back 🤙🏼
Can't wait till they interview Ed who's driving 1000 miles to Moab in that toy mini Jeep 😂
Need to put the biggest rad you can find vertically on top of the cab to get the miles in.
FINALLY!!! JOSH IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Now I'm curious... sounded like he was building the all wheel steering as a product that you could install... what's the company? Is there a website?

Yard truck .... sure! My honda fit sport is just a commuter...my 89 civic sedan is a econobox. My 95 accord is just a family sedan ..... sure! LOL!
I came for the kei truck wngine swap story. I stayed for the road trip story. I am a changed man.
So that 4ws system basically works just like the Honda Prelude 1992 and up.
My daughter has that grey and pink Ogio backpack @5:52
America is crazy with what you can do with cars both building and driving and passenger wise
who you are with will make or break any adventure
Just clicked on this video to see if the editor decided to add random pics of Ferrari interiors
I was so excited to see that Vermont DMV had let you register a Kei. Never mind.😢
So he recreated the setup that the Chevy Silverado had like a decade ago? It was, apparently, a great system and reviewed really favorably. So congrats.
Let’s get Matt from busted knuckle films on here!
We're asking for a update for the Vinwiki app! C'mon eddie! Make it happen
I want one of these trucks!!!!
Those are some really sick kei trucks. Im just hung up on what the media had to do with that shop guy being a jerk initially ?
Josh blamed it on the media making people afraid of what's out there, making them put up a wall between them and anyone else. Right around 13:00 in this video.
in the car world but go through the wrong part of town at the wrong time bad day
Best vinwiki story..
Superb story🎉
I have made these drives or close to them. I always tow it so I don’t blow it
No mention of @Hoonigans kei truck?
@The Hoonigans
It was destiny to meet that guy for the springs.... You don't get that when you drive across the country in a reliable vehicle. 😁👍
Edit: Wish I could find friends like this... 😂
I can build the most INSANE mini truck
So he re-did GM'S quadrasteer from the early 2000's 🤷
6.0 LS2 is a C6... C5 was the 5.8 LS1 and half C6 gen had LS1 and then LS2 in 05+
C5 suspension, trans and diff. 08 ly6 shortblock, 317 heads, Cadillac LC3 blower
@@GiffinsPerformancegotcha :). An amazing vehicle nonetheless. Lol. Love it!!!

Good points, and it was "eyes out" gees that feel way harder than the usual "eyes in" positive gees.
dude is crazy
Great story
Bet you'll be sure the next build is out of beta before you go for another road trip through the desert.
Good 🎉 😊 👍
VINwiki needs to kick it up a few notches.
More stories like this would be good. A twin-turbo V8 four-wheel-steering kei truck is a pretty wild build.
I don’t think this man has ever been to California because that’s not the case here😂
I think his channel name is busted knuckle. Or deathwish.
His channel is death wish, he is a partner of busted knuckle video.
This guy reminds me of that comedian Ari something....wonder how much he sold stompa for?

Yo man you say nh what city
Would have been so much better with a manual anyway gaha
🤠
You guys rock but who is the chick? A friend wants to know
Hayston hey
Rush in doors
A-60 rooms
This two people are playing forza at this point 😂
People r very jaded but we got to stop that.
This dude is freaking bent. Who thinks to build stuff like this. 👍
Just like tv shows : we built these in secret from one another and we built just by chance the exact opposite of each other.....
How Does It Become Street Legal!🙄?
When you convince someone to let you register it for road use.
You steal the plates off a normal car

Hopefully he has gone back am made it right with the truck stop for that stolen trash can
Josh looks like a cracked out Andrew tate 😂
