  • A’ishā (Ayşe) Hatun (Ottoman Turkish: عایشه خاتون‎, c. 1607 - after 1640) was the first wife of Ottoman Sultan Osman II of the Ottoman Empire
    Ayşe Hanimsultan or Haseki Sultan/Hatun was born in 1607 to Ahmed Efendi.
    She was the granddaughter of the statesman, Pertev Pasha. Her grandmother was the daughter of one of the daughters Hatice Sultan the daughter of Sultan Selim I, which means that she was a Hanımsultan. Her marriage to Osman appears to have taken place in January of 1620 as he met her in December of 1619. After Osman's death in 1622 she stayed in the imperial palace. Privy Purse records her presence lastly in 1640.
    Burial Place
    She is buried along with her father and other members of her family in Eyüp Cemetery, Istanbul.
