I've heard it so many times "I want to work with brands but I have a small following." What if I told you this is simply not true. They do want to work with you but first you need to get noticed. I know what it is like having a small following but once I did these 3 things I talk about in my video below, getting noticed by brands was becoming routine.
When I had just about 2000 followers, I began pitching brands. I did my research and knew there were so many bloggers, who were pitching brands and getting deals. I wanted to do the same and knew I had what it took seal the deal myself. I wanted to stand out and create my own lane.
Standing Out
How do you stand out? Well you have to be you. Everyone has a different personality, style and even their own way of communicating with their audience. Use all of these differences to stand out from the rest. I self-reflected on my personality, style and interaction with my audience and used this to my advantage when trying to get noticed by brands.
Creating My Own Lane
In order to stand out you have to create your own lane. At the time I was obsessed with natural hair products as I was caring for my own natural hair. Even though there were many other bloggers doing the same, I carved out my own lane by creating my own style of product reviews. The language I used and the information I shared with my audience mixed in with my personality set me apart from everyone else.
In this video I share 3 things that got me noticed by brands when I had a small following. I was ready to quit my job and stay home and raise my new baby. But I needed money. I needed to stand out from the crowd and grab the attention of brands fast! If you want to be a brand’s favorite blogger, influencer or UA-camr to work with on paid collaborations, do these 3 things I share in my video.

These are fantastic tips that I haven't heard anywhere else yet. Especially the research part.. No one talks about this and people even push churning out content in the name of putting out content.. But then the quality isn't there. I started to wonder if I was wasting too much time by researching before blogging or blogging but this was so validating.

Will the webinar good for people out of the country? Like links provided etc?? I am asking because I did had some companies who were ready to work with me but because of my new location (I was in Brooklyn, now in Montreal) they say they can't.
You can work with any company so long as you are in a market they want to market to. If you are in Montreal. You need to work with brands either in Montreal or with a consumer based in Montreal. This is the kind of coaching I can give. I hope to see you Friday.
