That is really sweet! She does bring a lot of positivity into the maker space for sure! I love to crochet “with” her and other honeybees- I need that positive energy all around me! ❤
I love your energy! These live streams are my happy place. I just crochet along and listen. You could go on for hours about whatever. I'd be here for it!
I'm stuck in bed so it's so nice to see you and your cheery face. From South Australia. I'm a childcare worker but in bed with migraines. I weave at the end too. Sometimes I'm slow to do it but once I get into it, it doesn't take long
Hi, I'm Anja from the Netherlands. I just discovered you on UA-cam and I looove your energy! I'm trying to find the motivation to keep working on my current crochet project, it's a Christmas tree😂.
hey lovely!! Kelsey from Ontario Canada! I missed your live stream this time, so fingers crossed I make it to the next one :) Also a June baby! June 18! Gemini queeeeeens 4 life!
Hi, Toni. I’m Cynthia from Lowell, MI. I haven’t been able to make the live streams cause I’ve been working. I work for JoAnn in the Grand Rapids area and the holiday season is our busiest time. I’m a Gemini, too, and of course, I’m working on squares from both blankets. I’m currently working on the houndstooth square. It will be done before I go to sleep tonight. I would love to see a video review of your regular crochet hooks. After you reviewed the Ally Express hooks, I bought them and love them.
I love the idea of weaving in all of the ends and NOT snipping off all of the remaining yarn until the weaving is finished. I love batching my process steps, too.
I do a lot of houndstooth and I carry the color I am not using along the row and crocheting over it. You really don't see the color unless you spread the stitches out. I have done a navy and white houndstooth, in worsted. Turned out beautifully.
Mama Gwen! ❤❤❤ My thought… even if she does--Toni is a vibe and I am here for it! (Fellow honeybee here- also ADHDer, but wouldn’t ask others about it 🤷🏼♀️) It could simply be trying to follow a 100+ people talking, asking questions, and responding all at the same time while still following her own agenda of talking points- and remember making plans based comments/questions etc- seems like a lot to keep straight at one time.
Yessssssss to crochet hooks. I love clover hooks. I bought the furls but I dont find the hook part of the furls hook rounded like the clovers so the furls hooks tend to split the yarn. Im gutted as I bought 2 streamline furls hooks and I really like the look and feel of them. But I prefer my clovers. The hooks on the clovers are smooth and dont split the yarn. I really really want to love my furls streamline hooks. I love the body of the hooks but I dont like the hook end of the furls. Also, I have small hands and I do find the furls crochet hooks too long. The length of the clovers are ideal for my small hands. So FURLS if you see this please make smaller hooks with hook ends that are not sharp. UK🇬🇧
Hi I had started watching you I just turned 66 Saturday, and I have been watching here to relearn to crochet lol, so I am going to try to catch your lives. I am in Detroit Michigan i also live in chronic pain but still mobile i need to get some yarn and a needle where can i order some and what kind to get to practice i want to do a scarf or benni thanks. .
Hey, I just want to put it out there: I live with a lot of people diagnosed with ADHD or Asperger’s, and that kind of question is just par for the course with them 😅 Social cues are not their strongest suit, and they will really just say what’s on their mind. I thought maybe the person who asked is also somebody with ADHD or is neurodivergent, and they just happen to really like you so they asked 😅
You said 36 on each side at first, I took a double take and sunk. But then you stressed 35 multiple times. I doubled checked and you said 36 when you first started mentioning next week. 😂😂
I don’t even crochet, but I love watching your videos and live streams. You bring such joy and positivity into the world🫶 Thank you 🙏

Hi Toni got your book spiral bound and I'm back to crochet after a long recovery and love it!

I love your energy! These live streams are my happy place. I just crochet along and listen. You could go on for hours about whatever. I'd be here for it!
Fun watching and "catching up" this morning. Love to the crochet world, the Yarn Hive, and the TLYC communities!

Love my lantern moon Tunisian hooks and their regular crochet hooks for tunisan entelac. :)
Great replay. Working on an old wip in entrelac. Planning to work on your fantastic throw at the first of year. For ME
Yes it would be great to see your review on your hooks
I love watching your tutorial videos.

I am Barbara Eileen from Hillside Beach, on Lake Wpg in Manitoba. Love your video's 🎉
Wow, she doesn't have adhd. Her mom here. She has thousands of questions and tries to answer them all. 😅
Toni is awesome! You gave us crafters a true gem, Mamma Gwen. Thank you!

Indiana here. Done a granny square block that was in my dishcloth book. DC picot edging. Really pretty.
19:23 YAS to the traditional crochet hook review, I watched the Tunisian review and went digging for a normal hooks review and was so sad 😂
Random thought based on the end of the replay-
I’m want to make my own soap one day!!! I think it would be so cool!
I'm working on the wave stitch watching the replay.
Love watching you but I work so I miss the live stream

I’m watching it three weeks late but I would love to know more about Tunisian hooks,
We don’t have ADHD. It’s a Gemini thing. Others just don’t understand.
