COIN FALL | Fall Guys Inspired 3D GBA Game
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 жов 2022
- I made a Fall Guys inspired 3D platformer obstacle course for the GBA.
This game is my entry for the GBA Jam 2022: itch.io/jam/gbajam22
I made everything you see from scratch including the highly optimized 3D game engine and levels.
Download link: 3dsage.itch.io/coin-fall
You play as an arcade coin that needs to get to the end of the course in under 60 seconds.
Bronze metal 30-40 seconds
Silver metal 20-30 seconds
Gold metal under 20 seconds
Collect all 4 gold metals to unlock 2X speed and jumping.
To cross a further distance, you can double jump if you walk off a surface.
Your best time will be displayed over each level so you can continue to optimize your Speedrunning.
Thank you for watching! I'll be posting more programming tutorials. - Наука та технологія
Again breaking the bounds of what an old handheld can do. Bravo!
0:49 Is no one gonna talk about the giant bag of GBA SPs, cables, and games he has? I want that
I love all your 3D game boy games. this stuff looks really cool. great job as always.
With some more polish, it could pass for an actual commercial GBA game back in the 2000's.
This just gives me a solid reason to play on my ds
Yes! The GBA rom should run very well on the DS too.
GBA really has no limits
You are the king of the homebrew 3D games\demos on the GBA !!!
Nice job dude !
Keep on going, i really love what are you doing ! 😍
this looks like fun, i'll definitely be giving this a go
I've been sitting here watching video after video, amazing work! Hopefully I see a "Front mission 3" gba port 😀😀😀
I feel like this man would be able to eventually port SM64 to the GBA one day
Looks like someone else is doing it
Keep going, you are the gba 3d alpha master pro plus creator of good tech for gba
you're a legend ngl
Please do a part 2 on programming Doom.
I will! :)
Impressive!
Congratulations. You might be the person that has created the most 3D GBA games
Very interesting!
I can't believe people still pushed the gba into its limits like i have never seen a 3d platformer on a gba before great work!
incrivel, realmente eu já joguei e já zerei, vcs realmente velam o gba ao limite
These games are amazing I love this work it's so vary amazing 🎉
Thank you for saying that! I am very proud of my game and programming!
oh man awesome
You are literally my god
pretty damn impressive ngl
That means a lot so thank you! 😎👍
Cool video! I would love to see some nintendo ds development if that would be possible in the future.
This guy could make a demo of SM64 for the GBA...
I would legit play this
I included the download link so you can!
perfect!
Thank you! :)
@@3DSage
do you think nds could technically give you more memory for this project?
original ds has a gba slot which could be used for a heavy project.
Imagine being like a fully game, sure it would be a pain to develop for, but it would be a nice experience
Do you think you'd ever update this? I know it is more of a tech demo and a fun jam entry but it would be AWESOME to see like an easier "tutorial" level and other neat features added
Amazing! old handheld=3D grapchics coll
hello, i've been following your raycaster series and noticed there are so many inconsistencies between episodes and the code, is there a chance that it could be updated or simply just explain why there are so many differences between episodes?
I guess because it's harder to understand with all the optimization stuff? beats me..
Your mother lol
@@lod4246 no, there's literally code that gets skipped over in episodes and that appear in the next episode
@@bucketmonkeys wow haha im laughing so hard everyone wants to be friends with you and you are such a great person and so useful in the world
@@gamersunite9026 hm, then i have no clue.
I'm just curious when part 2 of the Doom engine tutorial will be finished? I'm pretty curious to see
looks really cool!
are you planning to make any more updates to GBAcraft in the future?
now im wondering what run (the flash game) would play like on the gameboy advance
Will your tutorials cover everything in this video?
Can you may make a ground for the Minecraft on the gba. Like a green grass texture? Andmaybe walking and gravity physics ?
Can you please make tutorials on how to make 3D DS Games?
That looks beautiful! By the way, will there be any updates on Minecraft for gba? I think you could optimize the game reducing texture quality of distant blocks and make the world generation, that would be awesome
Since I build this new 3D engine, I could create 3D characters now.
Damn dear god, why didn't you make this guy a Nintendo programmer? If it had been, we could have awsome 3D GBA games.
Hi. I've been watching your channel for quite some time. I love the GBA content. Have you ever thought about trying to port and optimize Super Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time for another platform? Maybe for the PS1 or Sega Saturn?
What was that flash card you had? Like, where did you buy it? Because I'd like to get one.
Also I'm interested in making my own small GBA test game, but I can't seem to get the gba rom to compile with the those test stuff alone, oof. Also, I guess here's a question. What is the sprite size limit for GBA? And what is the frame limit per actor? (I have incredibly smooth pre-rendered animations that are at least usually 64x64 sprites, but sometimes bigger but I'm trying to shrink those since google seems to be saying that it isn't a thing for GBA sprites to be any bigger than 64x64, sometimes they say 64x32 or 32x64 but I dunno which, I hope 64x64 is allowed)
wow
looking forward to open world
Do you know how to modify already made games because if you do, why not make MVSDK online multiplayer, 4P having 4 Marios at once, also is SM64 Advance happening?
Interesting, will there be Character Animations? Also don't make it completely Fall Guys inspired. Try the special no FLUDD platforming stages of Mario Sunshine meets Fall Guys.
I was working on a 3D character but it looked bad at the low pixilation. But I might bring the camera closer and try a 3D character for a Resident Evil 4 type GBA game.
I have an actual GBA and I’m wondering if I can actually get the cartridge
This is incredibly admirable, and i wonder if you would like to help me, i have a bunch of lore and a concept i need help with. I want it to be super low end graphics for styling purposes, but also i want to make like a cheap trinket handheld with a custom 3d game build in
Basically a follow cam 3rd person platformer game like this, right up your alley
Have you ever heard of x for the gameboy? Something like that, but i have like 12 to 14 levels i have designed that i want to be really iconic and replayable like a mario kart level and a really goofy nintendo esqu story for the levels to have justification
Amazing
I wish some one would make a animal crossing port to the gba it handles 3d graphics so well!
This is so cool. What resolution is this game running at?
5
Probably gba native resolution 240x160
Interesting. What's the game about?
Fall boy advanced
That's a pretty good title!
Hi 3DSage, this is built on your raycaster engine right?
No there are no rays, it's closer to my Doom engine but has many modifications.
Nintendo underrated the power of the gameboy advance
When doom engine part 2?
I needed to finish this game before the deadline and I was on vacation for a while so now I'm ready to finish part 2!
@@3DSage yay, I soon will finally get to ditch picocad
The most exciting part is that the file size is only 135 kB!
What about 2 players?
And now make fall guys on ds. With at that skill i hope what you can do it
How
Pleaseeee update your GBACraft so we can get survival mode.
I want defeat a Warden in gba
make a FNAF!!!
I cussed this out so many times
The shit the 2x mean tho
@@conicthehedgehog9166 ¡Gracias! ¡Es muy amable de tu parte decirlo! Quiero seguir mejorando.

Second lol
Were already basically at mario 64 for gba at this point
I know! I'm getting very close :)
@@3DSage I wish you huge luck on pulling it off if you do manage to do so!
