Thank you! Takes me back. My dad served in WW II, Korea, and Vietnam and I am thankful he came home but many did not. One uncle was shot down over Germany. I grew up on Okinawa during the Vietnam war and so many did not come home.
I saw this video when I was 2( i dint really get it at first I thought it was just a good song) I was born in the year 2007 and since it is veterans day I felt like listing to it again thank you veterans we solute !!! this makes me cry every time. I can only sing a little bit of the song and for the rest, I solute for thanks. I'm actually 11 years old
THE Grascals are the salt of the earth....Just real good people spreading God's word, and writing some tremendous bluegrass- country songs that make you believe that there is still hope in this very dangerous and robotic path on which we seem to travel, sans question,with masks on.... Those masks have been covering our eyes and ears for quite some time now. I played "Jesus knew my Grandma best for her at a picnic on her 40 acre farm, for her 95th birthday. We lost "Mee Maw" soon after that immensely emotional afternoon. I knew the sermon on the mount would be the next thing she would hear.... But she cried with me that afternoon, and without words, she told me that she would never forget one word of that song....and that she will be watching and waiting for all her huge family, in Heaven!!!!!! So, I wish to thank the Grascals,for what I am unable to put into words... but , they understand!!!!! "Did you forget God today?" No....I never do....God sees all, so straighten up and grab your guitar, and make this world a better place... before it's gone!!!!!! May God Bless one and all!!!!!
