Yea I remember being on the edge of my seat in this game...Didn't think we would beat the Dawgs but I think the constant QB switching of Greene and Shockley cost Georgia the game
even as a uga fan, have to say these are really well done. They show highlights from both sides which gives you a better picture of the whole game. most fan made videos just show one perspective. Wish you would do some of the ones Uga won, painful as it would be :)

I just realized this, but 8 out of the last 12 games, Florida has held UGA's offense to less than 20 points, and in most of those games we had lost them. The 2012 game was the first time UGA won against Florida being held under 20 points since 1989, we had won 17-10 that year, but in 2012, we won 17-9. All the other games in between that UGA scored less than 20 points against Florida, we had lost!
FSU fan here, gotta give it up to Florida, their players always have had so much swag since the Danny Wuerfell, Ike Hilliard, Fred Taylor, and Reidel Anthony days. Dudes were always loaded with towels, armbands, leg bands, bananas, spandex socks, taped cleats, back pads, and belly jerseys wayyyyy before it was standard today with all these pretenders nowadays trying to get Twitter followers. Back then, it was PURE SWAG.

Oh man. Now I know why I blacked out this game from my memory. I remember Terrance Edwards got a lot of harassment from UGA fans. I remember it got so bad his parents did a couple of interviews blasting UGA fans. You really could say UGA is 3 plays away from 3 national championships.

vista7 If they win this game they would have played Miami for the national championship. They would have had a very hard time winning that one. Ohio State got very fortunate to beat them. However I’ll agree they were two plays away from two national titles. If they beat Bama in 2012 SECCG, which they were five yards away from doing, they would have crushed overrated Notre Dame in the BCSCG. And of course they just needed one stop in OT after having them 2nd and 26 to win the 2017 national title. If Kirby keeps recruiting the way he has been Georgia will get a national title in the near future.

I’ll never forget that drop and I wasn’t a fan of neither of these schools.
I couldn't remember anything from this game. Was Richt shaking up the offense or was Greene hurt? Didn't remember Greene getting benched that year. We couldn't capitalize on Poillaks pick and then Shockley had a devestating pick 6. Then a horrible penalty to end the half and keep us out of the end zone. Florida had a great D and we couldn't overcome it.

I think this was the last Florida-Georgia game not televised by CBS. I think since 2003, this game has been televised by CBS.
