- I recently started meddling with Blender and as a learning phase decided to make an animated/fan trailer for S.C.P., a fan driven 'web series' about a secret organization that captures and contains anomalous entities for the preservation of mankind.
This isn't specifically a Trailer for an upcoming Game or Film - just for the Universe itself. However, I have started working on a proper SCP Short Film...

its from one of the canon lines in the wiki. in one possible time line, The world learns of the impossible and The Foundation uses that line as a Pitch line/Slogan to draw in people for recruitment.

Thought what went down, I'm not sure what to think of this. I'll wait until the SCP unity devs can back up about what this man's claim was. In summary, the tweets state that "Zornor, lead dev of SCP:Unity was in a romantic relationship with his biggest patron, being a girl. The girl influenced toxicity on him, leaving him on a decline of mental health and later abandon his dev team that he paid 3K a month, his patrons, and the community, taking the money and running away."

Really makes you admire the foundation. They do terrible things out of necessity against even worst monstrosities. They would be a good example of the phrase “one must dwell in darkness to better see the light”.

@@KentuckyObjectivist well they did try to kill the old man but have even less success than with 682 (lizard)at least with the lizard they can actually damage it. They lock it all away because very few anomalies they have are safe for humans, the ones that are needed for other anomalies.

@@kaseywoods6587 On the one hand, I feel admit to being wrong. On the other hand, the USS Montana had the Kraken wrapped around it in one of it's events, which was dislodged after it fired off some rounds, so the "Squid-on-Battleship" thing could've been two different SCPs entirely.
Also, it's technically possible for us to get a Battleship Duel entirely within the SCPvervse canonically and I love it.
This should be a trailer for an actual scp movie, so good especially for the fact the description said "as a learning phase" for blender- like wHAT-

Considering how many times they've caused "End of World" scenarios or gotten our species murked/conquered, I'm not sure "good at it's job" is an accurate description of the Foundation.

I believe that this ABSOLUTE DAMN GEM of a video is evidence that this universe could, truly, be the kindling of an amazing movie, perhaps numerous! Wonderful job!

It'd work better as a long running TV series IMO. That way they could cover all sorts of scps through a monster-of-the-week type of episode structure (with perhaps less important or simpler Scps used as well in those, or related scps interacting), and still have an overarching plot throughout each season, with each arc covering a different aspect of the universe, and also spin off shows either from the perspective of other GoI's, or perhaps one taking place in the broken masquerade canon (or atleast a separate timeline where a broken masquerade event occurs). There could even be holiday episodes with the various holiday themed SCPs (there are several for Christmas, and several for Halloween.) Sometimes it would be from civilian perspectives, other times from MTFs or researchers or D-class. Some could even be from the perspective of human (or formerly human) scps (the the unwilling dimension hopper for instance). Later on perhaps the 05s, since some Scps are too closely linked to them to function otherwise. I'm getting so many cool ideas for this, but they are so specific or minor, and some things can be used in so many different ways, I'd be typing this all day if I went into it.

I had those exact same sentiments! As I watched this trailer (mouth agape), I asked myself, "How has a Japanese Animation Studio not picked this up and turned it into an Anime Series?" It would be right up their alley, with the futuristic spartan Foundation facilities and the no-nonsense doctors and OP MTF agents, not to mention the estotric monsters and locations that exist as SCPs themselves; all are motifs that are the hallmarks of Anime.
Amazing job, honestly.
And man, the SCP Foundation would provide such good material for a movie, or preferrably a whole series.

this is absolutely incredible. I mean I’m damn near speechless. it looks so fucking hype, I can’t believe how well shot and animated it is. the music’s perfect, the anomalies chosen fit the mood perfectly, everything’s perfect. brilliant, you should be extremely proud of yourself
Heavily underrated, this is a hidden gem.
But if I had to nitpick I’d say gate guardian seems rather small, the camera pov should’ve been lower i think. Maybe a pov next to the armoured vehicles looking upwards.

I also have to agree with someone on 049s mask being a little off. It does not look like a plague doctor mask.
Also, some of the humanoids (without tactical gear) look rather rigid and… plastic?
(Also 3000 is an eel like being and this portrays it as more of a snake)
Otherwise everything else, such as textures, music and like the scenes look darn incredible, very well done.

@@frostyvoid827 You'd be surprised how common it is for amphibious and serpent creatures to be mixed up... even in some crappy Hollywood video - with Jack Black which was sad because I like him - I remember off the top of my head, something was supposed to be a giant piranha and it was obviously an eel. Luckily the scene was wrong on so many other levels that it barely stuck with me....
For this video, it matters much, much less. Especially seen as how Antaneshesha has the inconvenient effect of ... making you forget
049 doesn't quite wear a traditional plague mask. It's specifically a Venetian mask, which is why the nose is so elongated. A normal plague mask just looks weird, I noticed this when thinking of a Halloween costume

Also i like the fact you put S.D. Locke's porposal when day breaks, not many people do that and i find the various storys very interesting, its one of the few things I actually enjoy reading.
Scp containment breach
When Day Breaks is actually really entertaining, I really like the stories from this "apocalypse" and seeing the perspectives of people or maybe other SCPs.
When day breaks was the first scp to give me nightmares so it's a good scp
I am a long time fan of the S.C.P. Foundation and this animation is one of the best things added to the massive collaboration that is the S.C.P. community.

If I had a nitpick for making SCP series, it would be to avoid making 01/proposals real especially Scarlet King, he is not supposed to have a form but stay as ever-lurking idea of evil, always ever-present on Earth
I really like the choice of music. It gives off a mysterious, somber, yet occasionally epic feel. It really fits the foundation. How in some cases there are epic tales while in others there are tales of tragedy and sorrow.

This gotta be like the 15th or 16th time I’ve watched this. Everything is perfect. The way the Plague Doctor looks at the mask, the way The Statue is surrounded by the MTF, the way Able is walk-in towards 682 like Kratos, just everything.
I'm legit in tears from how amazing this video is. the music, accompanied by the amazing visuals, the models, each individual set piece, the increasing danger of each SCP shown on screen, the timing with the music. this is outright the best SCP video I have seen on UA-cam. for this being a learning phase, you have done an outstanding job on this.

I saw this trailer when it first came out. I forgot about this video as one of the many scp videos that I watched. then I heard this music again, when I decided to find a random video on a completely different topic. and... I heard this song there. I didn't understand where I could hear it, why do I have any images in my head from this song? It seemed to me that this was a song from a previous life. and finally, after a few days of reminiscing, I remembered this video. I cannot describe the joy I felt. this music, this scp universe, which I haven't seen for almost a year, during which a lot has changed in my life... It was like remembering a moment from my infancy, and even more. thanks to the author for the feeling he gave me by just posting this video

I've watched a number of SCP videos that explains the hell the Foundation and its members go through just to protect the planet and its people. I've even seen and played a few games that are enjoyable. But this outdoes them as it showcases the overly powerful SCP's the Foundation can't outright contain or kill. The music was perfect so was the showcasing of the SCP's everyone knows, loves, and fears. This is way too underrated needs to be put on the SPC Wiki

Absolutely astounding, as an SCP fan this hits every note for me. i have my gripes here and there but you have enough people talking about those and the quality of the video in total FAR out ways the minor things. Also as someone who is really into audio you did a fantastic job with timing the cuts and transition the the audio, and the low low beat at the end gave me chills. I loved every second and cant wait to see more.

I especially love how you included many SCPs that, while still known, are less portrayed in cinematics or animations. The creativity in the design of things while still holding true to the community is incredible.

O Death is probably both the scariest and most depressing timeline in the history of SCP. In every other canon or timeline *someone* survives. Even if that someone is Robodude or Dr. Bright or The Old AI or 682. Something still carries on living, in one way or another. Not in O, Death. *EVERYTHING* is dead, down to the micro-cellular level. Even 682 and AIs and the Ghost Girl and The Statue. It also means there exists something, out there in the multiverse, capable of killing very, very effectively conceptual entities like 682 or animate objects like the Statue.
@@thebighurt2495 It is indeed quite terrifying. Your brain is accustomed to enemies that are creatures. Fight or flight against that is well ingrained. But enemies you can't see, such as illness, drive us insane as a species. Look at all the crazy that happened as a result of COVID. Throughout history people get crazy when a pandemic hits.
An interesting thought about O'Death is that the microbes left behind by the team that dies in that dimension will probably repopulate the Earth. Maybe even with sentient life. There's nothing left to oppose them. So they spread out, and then billions of years later maybe a new sentient species shows up on earth. Or not, given the sun doesn't quite have that much of a lifetime. And I was always suspicious of SCP 2000.
How many centuries, hundreds, thousands, has the SCP foundation been dying and reincarnating via that machine? Millions of years maybe? Is that why there's so little sentient life in the universe? (Depending on the canon.) Does everyone eventually mess up and go extinct? One of the pattern screamers scps, the Reckoner, plays out that very scenario, and its another one I find intensely eerie. It's an existential rabbit hole you can't avoid. You can tell what sort of sci fi games I like right? Star wars ain't for me, give me Dead Space and Mass Effect any day.

I just love how the music just makes the trailer more dramatic and you know, the song just suits the theme (The Mystic and Harsh Reality of the foundation universe) of the foundation. Good choice of music Allbranimator!

I just recently started getting into SCP and this was a bloody amazing introduction, i watch this video almost daily. It is truly amazing.

I’ve loved SCP for years now and this single video sums up my love for the series, I really hope they make a scp movie or tv show that resembles what this video showed, and I especially hope this videos blows up because this deserves all the attention and appreciation
