Educational programs like this benefit greatly from a simulator that can clearly demonstrate the concepts being taught. What a great opportunity for you and the students in the program. Thanks for sharing! I’ve subbed.😎
Thank you! Yes, I agree this tool is very useful. We saw an immediate response from the trainees telling us how much clearer things were after seeing it, even if it is in miniature!
Congratulations Serge! No surprises here as you are among the top modelers in the world. The modular railroad is beautiful and obviously the school thought so too. Can't think of a better person to get such an opportunity.
You are too kind my friend! I am not worthy of such praise!! I am so fortunate to be in a place that allows me to live my full potential! Thanks for the continued support!!
There you go! I knew there was a better way to word this! Being french speaking, whenever I do a video in english, my mind keeps trying to translate from french to english as I speak, but the words have different meaning. I always record as improv to keep it real and raw... Still, I am very happy you enjoyed the content and hope to inspire you and others to live their best life!!
@@sergelebel1239 Very interesting -- I've mainly dabbled in small ON30 layouts and am currently building a 0-scale 3-rail switching layout but have plans to build a larger continuous-run layout. I've never been enamoured with HO but have to admit there's a lot of really good product on the market so probably should take a closer look.
Absolutely awesome idea for training with the cameras and proto throttle wow really cool. I follow you even tho I am ho scale modeler but you can learn from any scale really as you just proved your method works extremely well in O and HO scale very inspiring!! Thanks for sharing. I think 30 min is perfect tme for video btw.
Thank you so much!! I agree that model railroading is a great teaching tool. I appreciate you following my O scale venture even if it is not your modeling scale. I think a lot of my techniques apply across the spectrum. Best of luck with all your modeling projects!
Awesome job opportunity! Congrats. When using the lead off the Inglenook, is the main line siding SCT or 105 territory? At least I have the CROR on my phone now and don’t have to keep the black binder on me any more.
Access to the siding from the Inglenook is done per rule 105 as the siding is non signaled except for the o/s section at both ends. With that being said, you still need dispatcher's authority to access the siding. Perhaps I should have included a derail on that spur... something to ponder I guess!
@@sergelebel1239 just wanna know before I throw my hy-rail on. lol! I’m a maintainer, so I look at the rules a little differently than operating crews.
Great video ... thanks
Damn WOW !!!! Well deserved SERGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Professional as always . Proud of you MAN !!!
Thank you!!!! I appreciate your support!
Wow, amazing work. The TV system is a great idea.

Heartwarming and inspiring video, thanks for sharing. I think the words you were looking for near the start of the video are “clearly demonstrate”

This was not long at all. Had my attention the entire time! Happy for you Serge. Great video!
Thank you!!!
Fantastic layout design and execution Serge -- you knocked it out of the park! Well done!
I have to admit I did enjoy modeling in HO scale. Things have changed a lot since 1979!
