This is a million-dollar video Serge! (Go big or go home.) Very, very informative and fascinating to watch.😲 You didn't just sell me a laser, but also the enclosure and setup, the hobby materials and the instruction manual, as well. And, your sample material tags-on-a-chain are a great idea. ❤🤗 Gotta Love It All!! . . . . 🚂Lawrence
Lawrence, you just made my video worth the effort! My goal is not to sell anyone on any particuliar brand, but to get modelers excited about these new tools, and get out there and explore all that is possible! Making this hobby accessible to everyone is what brings me the most joy! Enjoy the research, the learning process and be proud of the results!
@@sergelebel1239 We're on the same page here Serge, and with very similar missions, too. As for ". . . all that is possible!" I am constantly reminding myself, " *Anything* Is Possible! " when it comes to a worthwhile mission. Yes, even Joy. Thank you for the words of encouragement.👍 PS: That opening scene is SO realistic!
I was an N scaler for over 22 years, doing a lot of scratchbuilding. I used a laser engraver above anything else for building structures, bridges and paint masks. Any laser engraver is a fantastic tool to own... better than a 3D printer in my opinion, and I have 2 of each! If you do N scale structures, the basic X-Tool D1 Pro 20 watts will give you exactly what you want. This kit is not expensive and comes complete with software. The only thing I strongly suggest you add is some type of enclosure and extraction system because it is just as bad as lighting up a fire in your house in terms of smoke! X-Tool makes an enclosure for the laser, but from what I hear it is not that well sealed and it still smokes up your work area... but their extraction fan is fantastic!
Thank you for the video and the sharing of your knowledge !
Great video, Serge. As always, you inspire me to get building.
