I'm really loving these days in the life vlogs! That little yeller was such a highlight, what a cutie!
If you get the farm cat a house for outside, don't put fabric in for warmth as it's likely to get damp and stay damp, use straw or hay instead as it will allow the moisture to go through and will allow for staying warm
When you live in New England, USA, watching you drive down a road at your home is of great interest. It is so different. Listening to your perspective on everyday life is unique. Plus you make great food. And then to top it all off, there's Gooey!
Mannnn make some more of these vids love them keep them coming 💯💯💯💯💯
Making an outdoor cat shelter for colder months is a nice project, might be nice for that cat too. I liked seeing the greenhouse and trees
As a Texan, I'm glad to see that nachos are available internationally. Neat touch to put the salsa on before baking them (I'm used to salsa being a cool topping to put on hot nachos).
Also, I love these vlogs! They're super chill and enjoyable to watch
Yeah I was worried the chips would get too soggy but they seem to have retained their crunch.
Texan too hehe, I was thinking the same thing! I'm so happy that nachos are enjoyed there as well :)
I find these vlogs really calming, and I love cats so them popping up is always a nice bonus! Although it’s 'just' your daily routine, for me the nature, architecture, the different foods you make + the tidbits of culture/customs are lovely to see. I never really planned on visiting even though I have been learning some Korean, but these videos are making me consider a trip there sometime in the future. Thank you for sharing!
Chard can be used any way you use spinach. The stems can be sauteed and used like celery.
Why not make an insulated cat box out of two plastic containers (one about 2" smaller all around than the other), foam insulated panels, a plastic flower pot (end cut off), duct tape, and fresh straw. Directions can be found online.
Love the chill vibes in you vlogs. Can’t wait to see what the island looks like in the summer!! 👏🏼👏🏼
please continue making these vids. it's so relaxing!
I love this kind of videos too! I think it portrays, what everyone who thinks about people living in other countries wonders: How do they live? What do they do? How do everyday stuff looks like?
In a Social Media world where everything is about hype, I think it’s quite nice to have just a normal representation of how people live. It almost has a vibe of voyerism (in the best way possible lol)
Keep up the great videos and greetings from Germany :)
The cafe lighting seemed perfect! And your americano looked delicious. I love watching your vlogs.
Hello from the uk 🇬🇧 I love the relaxed everyday vlogs too. It would be nice to see more of the island as the weather improves like you said, sometimes Korean blogs are always centred around Seoul and there’s so much more to Korea than one city 😍 I also love the cooking too 😊 thanks very much
this normal life vlogs are my favorites, love it.
I love these vlogs.....your voice is so calming too💆♀
Yes we are very interested in someone else's life whether its eventful or just another mundane day. You're videos make me relaxed, personally
Felt bad for the poor little fella😅 great video😊
More daily vlogs pls! Nice cafe :) all the cats are so cute!
Chard idea: I cook some thick cut bacon until crispy but not burnt, remove and cut it into bits with scissors. I cut the chard into ribbons, wash, dry and add to the bacon fat in pan cooking on mid-low. Salt to taste. Add in 3-4 crushed garlic cloves, add back the bacon, and cook everything together a bit. Chard should be wilted but not burnt. I eat with rice and kimchee. It’s one of my kids’ favorite meals.
Yes, more of these videos. I like watching them to unwind in the evening
Helping with your parents (with the) farm??? That would be a nice video!
I like these videos. It feels chill, just like hanging out with a friend. I enjoyed taking a look at the greenhouse too since I love anything that has to do with gardening and growing ones own food.
I enjoy the regular life videos and travel vlogs, but also the recipe shorts. Do whichever you feel passionate about and I'm sure we'll enjoy it.
Love these videos!
Hey Johnny,
I can share a beautiful recipe for chard from my granny in Germany, which I love!
You blanch your chard leaves in water for a few minutes and then take them out.
In a separate pan, you add a diced onion and the diced chard stalks in a little bit of oil or butter - you can choose a fat of your liking really.
You let them sweat until they become soft.
Then you blend the blanched leaves, onion and chard stalks together with some veggies bullion powder and cream.
It is amazing! One of my favorite sides of all time.
Let me know when you have tried it!
Your videos always make me wanna go back to Korea and visit my grandparents old home 😢 keep going man
Love your vlogs, keep up the great content!!!
Nice! I would love to live in such a charming town. Do you do visits to the farm?
I love watching these small town in Korea vlogs!
Thank you for this video, it was so chill! I loved watching it while i prepared my lunch, it felt like i had a lunch partner while you talked :)
I really enjoyed this. Gentle pace. Fascinating stuff. Keep going.
would love to see these more often! more b-reel of you helping out with the family farm, exploring small time korea, etc. this was great video!
Thank you! I want to come to Busan and also explore your island as well. It looks so beautiful and peaceful there! Cheers from Phoenix, Arizona
I do love these vlogs! It is so cool seeing how others live life in different countries! Keep them comin’! 🎉
vlog more! they're very calming. i enjoy them!
Honestly I love these kind of chill everyday life kind of videos. Even if there isn’t anything super interesting going on, it’s still fun to watch 😊
i did enjoy this! im letting you know! your regular daily life is really interesting to someone who doesn't live this life!! keep doing these long form videos, theyre really relaxing and comfy, i love them
To answer your question about what to do with chard. You can cook a delicious Swiss recipe called 'Capuns' with (swiss)chard. It originates in the alpine region of southeast Switzerland called Graubünden, and you can cook it with or without meat; every family has its own recipe. The chard rolls are filled with egg/flour dough and other ingredients. You can cook the rolls in bouillon or first in a frying pan and then bake it in the oven with some cream and bouillon and, of course, a lot of chees. Looking forward to hearing if you like it :D
I love your vlogs!! My mom was adopted from Korea and I love getting the opportunity to see the countryside
Love these vlogs :)
love these vlogs, keep up the good vibes
I really like these more relaxed style vlog videos, it's always a really nice start to my morning! :D
Lovely Video! For cooking chard, I like to roughly cut them up into big pieces and saute with olive oil, onions, garlic and soy sauce. They kind of remind me of bok choi but you have to cook the chard for longer in my opinion.
Great video
Maybe a tour of the village?
Genuinely love watching these type of videos.
Hi, long time lurker. Started watching you a while ago and just thought I'd drop you some words of encouragement for these types of videos.
Although I love the cooking content, I REALLY love when we get to see behind the scenes, your daily life, this quiet-living in the country side, you showing us the culture and landscapes accented with your personality via your fun and insightful comments. It's really idealic and provokes some sort of catharsis for me to live vicariously through you haha. Honestly, my dream life.
No evil eye intended ♥🧿
Yes to more daily vlogsss
Another banger thank you Johnny
I loved all of this!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love this!
I really enjoy the daily vlog style videos, especially with gooey
Love your videos! I enjoy doing my daily house chores while you do yours haha
Love sautéed chard, specifically the stems have a great texture. My fave is with bacon, red onion and. a splash of cider vinegar at the end. Or you could ignore the vinegar and use the mixture to make a quiche. Swiss cheese in with the eggs is bonus. The pie crust you made recently would be great for the quiche. Definitely do more of this style of video. All of your videos are lovely.
Chard is super good in pies with salty cheese! or even just sauteed with garlic then finished with lemon.
love these vlogs, they are so relaxing~ ❤ thank you for sharing!
Love aĺl your vlogs. From sweet kitty Gooey to life in small town Korea to very interesting food experiments. Please continue. From a fan in British Columbia, Canada.
I think you should do these kind of vlogs more as it's not neccesarily about the "interesting" that draws me in, its the tranquillity and serenity in comparison to, well, the rest of the world and the image medias keep pumping and keeping up.
I love your vlogs, so soothing and so informative. I really want to visit South Korea in 2025 to make hanji (handmade paper). I’m going to Italy this summer to make hand-made paper at Fabriano( a company in continuous operation since the 12th centiry). Yes, I’m a paper nerd. BTW, just moved from Atlanta, Georgia, to Chicago.
I love stir fying chard with garlic and chilli, but definitely cut the stems up and do those first (and the bit of stem that goes up the leaf), otherwise its tough and bitter, then add in the rest of the leaves later on!
Wonderful vlog
You are extremely listenable and this fact echoes in the views- to your credit though, you deserve more watching and subscribing 👌🙌
I am just on half watching. There is a recipe I remember doing that needed chard,to cook in a creamy sauce- either chicken or pork.. some chard is used in a salad (salad leaves)
The peas- would be able to pull aswel off the peas- pea shoots ?? If so they would be delicious too
😋😋
I think I remember seeing PastaGrammar make an Italian chard dish a while ago. They usually post those recipes on their website so I’d just Google Pasta Grammar Swiss chard.
Looks like it’s an Italian version of Greek spanakopita aka spinach pie. So you could even make both to compare!
Rainy days are wonderful cafe days 😊
LOVE the video. More Please! You probably don't need the windscreen on the microphone inside. Sound was a little muted.
love this video
Day in the life fun!

Even if you didn’t tell buying a new mic, I realised it. Your voice became very clearer.
I’ve used chard instead of spinach in sigumchi namul. It lends a bit of an earthy flavor but is still very delicious. My favorite way to enjoy it is sautéed with a some pork belly or bacon lardons and a little hot sauce. Yum!
And if it makes you feel any better about the price of cucumbers, I just paid $16 for a head of Napa cabbage. Still worth every penny!!
Your life is very much interesting, Johnny. More videos like this please.
I like the regular daily life vlogs
that blockttech jacket is so beautiful
I think the nachos look fantastic. Yum!!
you make me want to move there lol. it's just so great.
Chard steamed with butter and malt vinegar yum!
I love countryside ❤
Was just wondering, if it was hard to make the decision to move back to Korea from London? Because I’ve found myself in a rather similar situation in terms of having to move back.
Sautee chard with garlic, add lemon and pepper at the end. Delicious
Since cucumbers are expensive would it be more cost effective to grow some 🤔
...i like how and where you live chill and organic HalleluYAH blessed in Christ Peace
What is that mic named I wonder?
More about daily life😊
Sauté that chard with some garlic and black pepper
man i miss korea
Was the pork belly cooked already??
You can make dolma with chard
i've been living in the city my whole life, and being dragged by the rat race all this while. and ngl you're kinda living my dream life right, alone, in a small town, in korea, and with a CAT :) just making food and videos all day. would love to live that life one day (:

Do you speak Korean with your family or the eemos on the island?? You’re so self sufficient:)
Did you ever see the movie The Ghost of Mae Nak? I found it on one of my movie watching apps and watched it with English subtitles!!!! It was Really Creepy and Spooky!!!!!😀😀
& The Uninvited, a Korean film from 2009, is EXTREMELY creepy!!!!!!!!!😀😀😀
I'd also love being rich.
Chard: salad, i.e. use instead of lettuce. Almost the same, just a tad more flavour.
Omg, maybe try make Chard kimchi

@@isimerias is that enough to survive in South Korea?well I know it depends on how much he earns because on UA-cam the views aren't in millions to give the returns
